I lost my dad 2 years ago, and this had me in floods of tears within seconds! I also lost my mother in 2017. My emotions are extremely strained still. This man has an amazing voice which cuts so deep.

Oh dear......😢 Feel so sorry for your lost.

Every time I hear this song tears fall down my cheeks. remembering when my father was sick for several weeks I took care of him. but when I went to work far from home, I got the news that my father had died and was buried that night, and never saw my father again...😭

​@@DiniKusuma Kalo menurut saya, para reactor menangis ketika mendengar lagu ini bukan krna Cakra nya, tp krna mereka tau True Story di balik penulisan lagu ini oleh James Blunt ketika ayahnya mengalami gagal ginjal kronis. So.. siapapun yg mengcover lagu ini, gak perlu suara yg amazing, asalkan suaranya enak didengar sudah pasti akan menguras air mata org yg mendengarkan dg seksama. Coba cari aja video reaction cover lagu ini dari penyanyi lain. atau cari video reaction yg mereaksi video James Blunt. 95% reactornya menangis atau minimal matanya sembab.

Tapi ... ada juga, misalnya kalo kita tau reactor Killermcknight, mereka justru nonton versi Cakra dulu, baru dikasih tau untuk react original nya dari James Blunt ... waktu nonton versi Cakra, ya mereka tetap kena mental 😁🙏 Kedua, kalo kita nonton reactor dari Inggris atau UK ... rata² mereka ga nangis, termasuk covernya Cakra - jadi gini ... James Blunt kan orang British ya, dia nulis lagu ini dlm kondisi ketika dia merasa akan kehilangan ayahnya ... tapi kan ternyata ayahnya selamat, jadi sebetulnya kisah asli James Blunt dgn ayahnya itu happy ending ... dan ini masy Inggris rata² sdh tau, karena berita media mungkin lebih banyak diterima masy Inggris - coba deh check reaktor Inggris yg nonton cover Cakra, kebanyakan mereka ga nangis loh (kecuali reaktor GOT ya, dia kadang² suka gimmick soalnya, hihihi) Tapi ... kalau sudah keluar UK ... Amerika misalnya, khususnya setelah dinyanyiin Iam Tongi, interpretasi lagu ini jadi beda ... yaitu ttg anak yg sudah ditinggal pergi (meninggal) oleh ayah nya ... lebih tentang kerinduan si anak pada ayah nya >>> makanya semua yg dengar lagu ini selalu jadi mbayangkan/teringat mendiang ayah/ibu mereka - khususnya ayah sih - endingnya nangis Jadi maksud ku ... perbedaan interpretasi lagu ini lah yg sebetulnya bikin org (diluar UK) nangis ... justru bukan dari original nya James Blunt Kalo bicara ttg emosi bernyanyi misalnya - kita ambil perbandingan James vs Cakra dulu misalnya ... karena Iam beda lagi emosi nya James nyanyi dgn emosi tidak bisa ikhlas kalo dia sampai harus kehilangan ayahnya - ada emosi marah, ga bisa terima, dsb - alhamdulillah ... ayahnya selamat Cakra nyanyi dgn emosi sudah bisa ikhlas kehilangan ayahnya, ekspresi wajah Cakra seolah dia sdg ngobrol dgn ayah nya yg sdh ga ada - intinya Cakra kangen lah sama alm ayah nya Iam beda lagi ... dia nyanyi masih dgn emosi sgt kehilangan ayahnya, jadi seperti belum ikhlas ayahnya benar² ga ada - masih terluka/sedih banget Intinya mmg ... lagu ini saking powerful nya, masing² penyanyi bisa bawa emosinya sendiri², termasuk ngajak penonton ikut merasakan emosi si pnyanyi Begitu menurut ku, hihihi 🤗
