Freddie was a beautiful man, inside and out. All of the members of Queen are. But Freddie, I just love him. Their music is the soundtrack of my life. Even today - I am just having a shit day. On day’s like this, I turn to my Freddie. Listening to him, and Queen, just makes me feel a little bit better. Thank you for the reaction. I am here for your Queen journey. And take care of yourself, especially now. Stay healthy and happy.

Firstly I would like to wish you all the very best in your personal battle. I have been a fan of Queen for 50+ years, & it would take a lifetime to experience their full catalogue of songs. If I was to recommend one period, it would be their last 12 months together, the material written espescially from Freddie was truly amazing. Stay safe Fella.

There is no end to the amazing songs you’ll find from Queen. They fill my soul with joy. I have seen the movie over and over and love it for the entertainment value. You’ll hear from the die hard fans about all the factual errors it contains, but Queen was involved in creating it. I imagine you’ll also love it as I did.

Freddie makes you feel that way every time. Saw the movie and was good, but may I suggest you watch the actual "Live Aide" peformance before seeing the movie? It's a 20 minute set that will go by in what seems like 5 minutes because you wont want it to end...lol. You will see Freddie having absolute mind control over 70 plus thousand people, it is an AWESOME performance and you will FEEL IT! Another great reaction vid!! Welcome to the Queen Family, you get them!

Out of the group of his friends only Elton John is left it just shows what a crazy pandemic it was back then and how amazing now that people can live healthily with HIV and AIDS! Yeah this is my favourite queen song I cry every single time I hear it xx

Great reaction again. Agree to watching Live Aid first before the movie and don’t forget when you watch the movie that there are some facts but also artistic licence and event timings out of order. Live Aid was an event put together by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for the famine in Africa. It took place almost simultaneously at Wembley, London and Philadelphia and watched worldwide by 1.5 billion people. Queen were added to the list at the end after the tickets sales but are known for stealing the show. Everyone had a 20 minute slot. Even though not a Queen audience, Freddie still had them in the palm of his hand 🤗 Freddie and Brian came back on at the end of the night to perform another song, Is This The World We Created, a beautiful song and very meaningful for the occasion. About £150 million in today’s money was raised that night. ❤️Freddie❤️

Lovely reaction. YES Freddie really did Sing till he couldn't no more and that's why I adore him so much. He is really brave, really manly and a Great Guy. I can relate in so many ways with Freddie, but not only Freddie. The Whole band. I feel Connected to them and that makes me Love them soo soooo so much. 4:14 that's Brian May. He is Lead Guitarist, Background Singer, He also has Lead singing songs and he is an Astrophysicist. (Everyone in the Band can play more than 2 instruments, they can all play MANY instruments. so that's why you see Brian in this part on the synthesizer or keyboard idk what that is 😅) And Yes Brian has that Hair Style till this very day 😂 I know you love Freddie so much as we all do and I know you mostly react to him because he is on the Front and Lead Singer, but please praise the whole band. That would make everyone happier 😁 For example I really really love Roger Taylor (the Drummer) because he is also a Singer (he also has lead singing songs but he is also a background singer, he even sings more in the background than Brian.) and he Sings while Drumming, just like in this song. Singing and Drumming is the most hardest thing to do because the Drums are an athletic instrument And then Freddie and Roger both could do insane angelic high notes. John Deacon (the Bassist) isn't a professional Singer like The rest of the band but he did some background singing VERY occasionally. You could even count how many times John sang in background it is really that much (so it's not much is what I'm trying to say 😂). John was the quite one in the band and that's why he is the most underrated one. John was always Dancing on stage and He is really damn good on the Bass. So yea I would love to hear you praising them all. I request _* Queen Live at the Rainbow (1974) - In the Lap of the Gods*_ because it is one of their older stuff and you can see how young they were and Freddie and Roger are singing like God and Angel in that one.

A beautiful song. Very poignant. The song was written by Brian for the movie Highlander. Freddie is thought to have contracted the disease in late 70s..around 77 to 80..in New York in his promiscuous time. As we know the disease can take 6 to 10 years to present as full blown Aids. So Freddie had this all those years and didn't know. I think at this time he guessed he had it but was not fully aware until it was present as full blown in 87. John Deacon was aware of the kaposi sarcoma on Freddie's calf..but he was told it was nothing. So I wonder if John had an idea Freddie had it. Such a sad sad loss of a super great talented man. I miss him every day.

The first Queen song I heard was Killer Queen, back in 1974, and I thought "those are some of the most intelligent rock lyrics I've ever heard". I'm a little behind. Lol. But I love your reactions. Freddie truly is one of a kind. He is a legend and never felt sorry for himself. He worked until he couldn't.I also don't think Brian ever changed his hair style. If it works keep it. I knew someone who died from AIDS. I'm so glad you are healthy. Hope you keep reacting to Queen. They are amazing.

I STILL cry every single time I listen to him sing this song.. such a beautiful beautiful soul!!! Curious: it's been 2 years since you posted this. Have you seen the studio version yet? I love Queen live, but this song in particular, in my humble opinion, is best listened to on the album or video. I love that Brian sings the intro and the chorus accompanies Freddie.

A song, that told more than he may have known at the time. The song was for the movie Highlander. It says so much. If you haven’t seen the movie, you should. Brian May slays it on guitar.

Don't apologize for your emotional reaction, it's perfectly understandable, I get emotional too and when you shared your personal story (I am so glad for you that the meds exist now), I actually got worried for you, because that plus the documentary plus this song, plus what Freddie says at the beginning? Quadruple whammy of emotion right there.

It affects me that way too. My brother was my best friend and only sibling and was gay. He became HIV pos in 1985 and lived with me most of his life. It devastated both of us. He passed away four years ago from lung cancer and Freddie reminds me of all the great concerts we saw together and gay bars he took me to so I could dance the night away. Another one bites the dust was a fav.we both cried when he died. Freddie was a legend.

Another great reaction. Please don't apologise for getting emotional. If you can hear Who Wants to Live Forever without getting emotional, there's probably something wrong with you! 😊 It will definitely already have been suggested, but you really must react to Queen's performance at Live Aid in 1985 - frequently voted, in various polls, the best live performance ever. Bear in mind that at the time Freddie had 'flu or a throat infection, and had been advised by his doctor not to sing. For a really emotional song, check out No One But You (Only The Good Die Young). The band's tribute to Freddie after he died. On a cheerier note, for sheer exuberance & fun, try the Rock 'n Roll medley, also from Queen's 1986 Wembley shows. (RIP Little Richard)

The movie.... Still amazed at how many people don't know that this song is the story of The Highlander - worth a watch. Queen also wrote the songs Princes of the Universe, A Kind of Magic and Gimme the Prize (the prize is explained in the movies) all for the same movie. There is also a carmageddon scene where Freddy sings a song called New York I think it was, but he hated it and never recorded it anywhere except for the movie where you can hear about 1.5 minutes of it.
