Reaction Pours In Regarding Remarks by Pope Francis on the Future of AI | EWTN News Nightly

Reaction is pouring in, following remarks by Pope Francis on the future of artificial intelligence. At the G7 Summit in Italy, the Holy Father urged world leaders to keep human dignity at the forefront in developing and using AI. He also warned that the powerful technology risks turning human relations into algorithms. The director of the G7 research think tank said the Holy Father was treated like a celebrity. Adding that it was important to note that AI poses threats to peace and society of human ethics are left to the side. CEO of Longbeard and creator of Magisterium AI, Matthew Sanders, joins to share what stood out the most to him about the Holy Father's comments and how important it was for the leader of the Catholic Church to address this topic with world leaders. Estimates say the AI sector was valued at more than $400 billion, and in the next decade it could be worth $2 trillion. Sanders tells us where he sees AI going and whether he is excited or concerned.
