Kochi is just magnificent. I have been to Fort Kochi...you just say wow! The huge expanse of sea, occasional roar of waves, the whispering wind and jovial people enjoying out there...big mosques, churches and a few temples show you the soul of India. A bit of a problem, though, of language, but English bridges the gap. I strongly recommend our northern states to make southern languages (any one of them) as an essential part of the school curricula. Malyali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada are beautiful languages. Tamil and Malyali, are so rich, so vibrant.
