The whole album is just outstanding

A track with arguably the best snippet of a song when they build up to the solo with the overlay of vocals. A mount rushmore of rock music! This is an amazing song and SIX is without a masterpiece! And amen about Gary! The vocals on this album are next level. He is the greatest vocalist right now. All of the others are too old and can't carry the notes they used to. This is a band reintroduced at a time when we need them. You have nailed the assessment.

Well you missed the fact that they were a rock band always They got caught in the whole grunge era. They were not a hair band, nor a 90'ies ballad rock band. A very funky rock band indeed

While I mostly loved Rose from the start, it took a few listens to really appreciate the rest. I wasn’t blown away by the other singles at first, but damned if I didn’t find myself humming them subconsciously later. Now having listened to the full cd several times… I’m hooked and love it. Much better than their last outing. A couple songs like beautiful girls feel a tad out of place but are great

They are Boomers alright, they boomed me right out of my musical complacency... It's everything a good driving rock number should be and then some!! I can't get enough of this one, it has hit something within that I didn't know I had... I really dig this one... I've never really been into the heavier side of music, maybe the occasional song here and there, but not full on, now at age 60, it's starting to suck me down and I'm getting quite comfy here... maybe it's always been there, but it just needed a swift kick up the arse to get it going. This is definitely a good swift kick... more please 😁 🙃🐨🇦🇺

Very underrated. Gary is just as good as Sammy. As for Nuno he's royalty. Top 10. People ask me why they only have 1 huge hit. I think they write what they want to play as opposed to pleasing the record company. I think in that sense Nuno is like the best unknown Guitarist Guthrie Govan. What do you think.

Part of me thinks they were victims of the combination of Power Ballad Over-Saturation plus the start of Grunge. Early stuff is slamming, but they had to make "hits", and at the time, it was Power Ballad Central, then once everyone was sad from all the rockers now having feelings, Grunge came in and the Woe Is Me decade began. Along with other factors of the time (Death of the Video, Price Gouging Concert Tickets, etc), they were just one of many bands to not survive the cut of the mid-90's. But that's just off the top of my head, I'm sure if I sat down and thought about it and reached out to some buddies I worked with at the time, we could piece together a decent timeline. Cheers, Eric

I agree fully. perfect rock song.. and that guitar work is insane. Other great guitar work lately is done by Hans Plats (The Dark Side of the Moon/Feuerschwanz) and Adrian Thessenvits (Ad Infinitum) in my opinion.

i follow mediabase and all access and i've been a chart person for years and i can't believe that none of these new songs have been picked up by any station yet despite going up for adds weeks ago...Eric your a radio guy why in the world would they not pick up any of these new songs after hearing them?? they do play older artists at times like Ozzy or Slash but when songs are this good why not?? Extreme hit number #1 on rock radio with Rest In Peace after More Than Words so i dont think its the "these are the More Than Words guys" excuse..its a crime

I have no idea, unless it's a political issue within the promotional side of things. Why this wasn't pushed as soon as it was mastered is beyond me. I can reach out to a friend and see if he's heard anything. Could be what you mentioned, which would be a VP of Programming overseeing a hundred rockers just not even giving it a listen or giving the AR person a call back. I'm just as baffled. Cheers, Eric

Heh, people in the general music genre doesn’t understand music like this… Eddie VH’s son is also what i’m listening to… Tired of the auto-tune generation. Got other artists in other parts of the world that consider auto-tune embarrassing / weakness… Rock bands have real musicians.
