You shook me by Led Zeppelin ❤❤

my personal favorite zeppelin song. Just speaks to my soul and core.

I was sitting on a bench at my local plaza waiting for my ride from school, mind you this was when long hair, bell bottoms and flip-flops were the attire of the day. across the street was my favorite record store and out came blasting this song that shook me to the bone. what a underrated master piece. I'm 70 now and to this day I get the same reaction.

It was nice when they included this on the box set. Previously it was only on the B-side on the 45 vinyl of the Immigrant Song. It was great that you picked up on the mandolin playing on this one!

You can never go wrong with a Zeppelin song!! Try their live performances!!

I bought this .45 in '79! $4.50!... still have it! No! I won't sell it!!

Thanks Sarah, I’d also recommend The Rain Song or When the Levee Breaks. It’s hard because Zeppelin never did a bad song, but those are top tier songs amongst all the other great songs they did.

Glad you were not blocked Sarah. I know this song, but not by title. I'd skip The Immigrant Song since you heard it and so have most people. Two Led Zeppelin songs I'd recommend are: Over the Hills and Far Away and Misty Mountain Hop.

Hard to understand why this song did not make it onto the 3rd album, it is better than a couple tunes that did end up on side 2. Great tune and single, I still have a 45 record for it. Try Page and Plant live in 98 at the Amnesty International charity show, doing Babe, I'm Going to Leave You, the performance and Page's solo are incredible, at one point Robert Plant is gazing in wonder at him. This song was B-Side on the 45 RPM Immigrant song single and never on any LP , have a 45 copy in my juke box ,still sounds great !Thanks for ding it ..Please do OVER THE HILLS FAR AWAY !

Love this song and your reaction. FYI, this was only released as a single 45, so many people have only heard this on the radio. You would have made a great 70s chick. Bell bottoms, longer hair. Yes!

How about a 2fer to surprise your audience? So, Slade was an underappreciated band. Though, Quiet Riot covered at least 3 of their songs. The most obvious is "Cum on feel the noise." Do both versions back to back. I am guessing that a lot of viewers have never heard the Slade version. First song I ever looked up and listened to when I discovered youtube was, " Gudbye to Jane" by Slade.

HOOTY & The BLOW FISH did there Rendition of this Song! It was Completely Forgettable. That's Why few People know about The HOOTY version! The Original ZEPPELIN version is Best! 🎶

For me Immigrant song is at the bottom of LZ songs , still good but there are MANY better . Radio killed immigrant song for me . Way overplayed .
