The incredible thing about Napoleon’s enemy is that despite being beaten times and times again by him, they all learn and adapt to his tactics and strategy to eventually beat him. As Rocky puts it: “...it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward...”

Yeah we think that WW1 just ended and with it Austria-Hungary aswell. But he shows us that it wasn't such simple as we think. There were many treaties, diplomatical blunders and even military conflicts between the new states which were created after fall of Austria-Hungary. Very good series.

Unless they are Poles. Two examples from Napoleonic wars: 1. After the battle with Spanish insurgency soldiers got alcohol. Later came Napoleon to inspect them without warning. Only Poles where able to form ranks and greeted him "Long live the emperor" or something like that. Napoleon said "I wish all my soldiers were always as drunk aa Poles". 2. After battle of Frydland Napoleon's army was drinking for three days. Then Russians counterattacked. Only Polish soldiers of Jan Henryk Dąbrowski were able to fight and defeated Russians. Napoleon is believed to say "If you need to drink do it like Poles".
