This was so haunting, but turned to heartbreaking. Just brilliant. Geoff is normally so subltle and introverted but when he sings the passion is all there.

If I had to describe this cover with one word, it would be intimate. It sounds like Geoff is simultaneously cherishing and mourning a lost love.

This cover was so evocative of the pain that love can bring. I don’t know why this hit so much harder than the original, but for me it really did.

Truely a hauntingly beautiful song...I am in awe of how talented Geoff is. This cover has brought me to tears so many times. it hits so hard. Geoff brings such depth, sadness and a sort of resignation to this song. Great reaction.

I grew up with this song, and while I knew as a kid that it was sad, maybe because I'm older, married, etc., but this cover seemed to yank the grief to the forefront. Geoff's facial expressions, those soul-rumbling lows, then the tenor highs like his soul screaming out in anguish and longing... it was just so haunting.

Omg Finally! I swear nobody has ever heard of HiM and their cover of Wicked Game when I say it was my previous favourite version of the song. I think the reason I preferred HiM over the original CI was Ville Valo’s deep vocals (hello apocalyptica’s bittersweet 😍) and now Geoff!! I swear it itches a part of my brain I never knew needed scratching. It’s so good!

I have always loved HIM's version of this song, but Geoff took it to another level❤ absolutely gorgeous!!
