ok long story short about the lightning thing: Natsu _can_ bring out the lightning dragon slayer magic again if he needs to, so its basically a transformation now. but mostly just sticks with normal fire

You can't blame Screwattack for spoiling that all on you the stuff you got spoiled on has been common knowledge for years now in the anime and manga.

TrueWarrior Jak actually if he only watched what's animated so far then he would only know that natsu is a demon. He wouldn't know that zeref is natsu's older brother

I remember seeing one reaction video to this fight, and someone had linked in the comments a university experiment to demonstrate electricity's effect on fire. From what I saw in this experiment, fire actually conducts electricity (or rather the ions in the plasma of the flames), and prolonged exposure to an electrical current snuffs the flame out instantly. With Natsu outputting that much electrical energy in Lightning Fire Dragon Mode, it pretty much shut down Ace's Logia intangibility in an instant

Should we tell that Natsu's E.N.D.? Oops.

I would definitly LOVE to see some fairy tail reactions from you guys, specialy now that the anime is on stand-by, so you can easily catch up watching like 2-3 ep. per week! They had no reason to tell people that Zeref was Natsus brother. It doesn't tell us anything about his power and the anime was nowhere near that revelation at the time

I’m not saying they’re doing it on purpose, but… Fire- Ace vs Natsu Earth- Gaara vs Toph Ice(Water)- Gray vs Esdeath Coincidence? Maybe. Interesting? Definitely

They're not attacks they're spells. They need to call out the names of his moves in order to use them.

No. They had 0 reason to spoil the revelation that Zeref was Natsus brother. It added nothing to the analysis and to make it worse that hadn't been revealed in the anime yet.

This was a fight between raw talent and skill.

Considering it took Natsu a lifetime to get to his current level and Ace only 3 years, I'm assuming Ace is the raw talent and Natsu is the skill... but Natsu could also be considered raw talent as well... so it's raw talent & skill vs raw talent then...

Perhaps reacting to another death battle episode will cool down your hot temper, and speaking of "cool" I know just the episode to do that. Sub Zero from mortal kombat vs Glacius from killer instinct.

No. The thunder dragon slayer have him some of his lightning powers. He didn't consume it. You probably already caught up but natsu can replenish both his lightning and fire abilities just by eating either fire or lightning. He doesn't need to have to eat both to replenish both.

He can just summon the lightning

There is no reason for them to reveal that Natsu and Zeref were brothers. It added nothing to the analysis. To make matters worse it hadn't been revealed in the anime at the time

Apparently natsu has to be careful of what KIND of fire he consumes. He prefers to eat red fire which is what's he used to...but blue fire is unbelievably cold, purple fire is really disgusting, while golden flames are...I guess like red fire but gives him a major power boost. And natsu doesn't have to eat the fire. He usually does it when he's low on power, or is really just hungry.

That's actually not even why it would affect fire; lightnings turns oxygen into ozone, meaning lightning suffocates fire

Yea the spoilers for Nastu in this were worse than the Fairy Tail movies and that's actually saying A LOT

Well the bad thing is screwattack forgot about Ace knowing Haki. I love Natsu but Screwattack got this one wrong. Ace with Observation and Armament Haki Natsu would have been dead in minutes not to mention if Ace used Conquers Haki and plain knock Natsu out without lifting a finger

Haki isn't all-powerful. Conqueror's Haki won't work on Natsu because of his willpower and simply being stronger than Ace, and he can just overpower Ace's Armament Haki.
