This song has so much emotion to it. It just pulls itself apart from the rest, because it does sound personal. YOu hit the nail on the head. But this is my favorite DGD song. That and Chucky vs. The Giant Tortoise. This band is more amazing the more you listen to them.

i keep telling him that one.. but my personal favorite is antlion for sure i think johnny does some of his best vocals on it i dont thinks theres really any moment in that song where he isnt pushing his voice (maybe one spot or two idk) and the song itself doesnt really have any slow parts.. i mean the verses are i guess. but since he is still singing at almost full force, it just makes the song feel high energy the whole time IMO

Two Johnny recommendations- Lemon Meringue Tie, Thug City. 3 for Tilian- Shark Dad, The Jiggler, Say Hi. 3 for Kurt- Carl Barker, Tree Village, Rock Solid.

The pop blend is definitely a trademark for dgd they kind of use it as a way to appeal to a bigger audience while having the more intricate instrumentals/screaming to appeal to more trained ears Next one I recommend is Blue Dream it's on one of their later albums with Jonny you'll find the productions better

Not sure if you will like it, but popular opinion is that some of Jonny Craigs best stuff is from his Emarosa days, specifically the Relativity Album. Personal favorite off the album is "Heads or Tails? Real or Not". Again, just the consensus, don't shoot the messenger if you don't like the music lol
