TRILOGY OF LIGHT - Starlight, Shine, Arkadia - are parts of BABYMETAL's 3rd Album - "METAL GALAXY" - which was officially released in 2019.

They do incorporate some english in most of their songs! Taking as example songs you already reacted to: - in "Road of Resistance" they sing "Resistance! Resistance! Stand up and shout! Justice forever!", and during the song they say Forever and Resistance some more times - in "BxMxC" the say few words, like "Put it Put it All on the line, Wanna Be, Want Some Beat" - in "Doki Doki Morning" just few words here and there, like Makeup, Party Time, Today - in the rap part of "Iine", they say: "One two, one two, Microphone check, are you ready to mosh?, Put your Kitsune Up!" - in Distortion, they say: "Give up, give up, Can't stop the power, Stop the power They also have a few songs that are fully in english: the first one was "The One" (it has a full english version and an half Japanese/half english one) and it was a thank you to all the overseas fans that started learning Japanese to sing along with them! They also did "From Dusk Till Dawn" and "Elevator Girl" (this one also has a japanese version and an english one).

Sorry if we didn't warn you about the Trilogy Of Lights. I think i was expecting for you to enjoy a couple of more songs from first and second album, especially The One along with Tales Of The Destinies. This song belongs to 3rd BM album Metal Galaxy, and is the final song not only from the set but also the album. Songs are in order to listen and be experience this way: - Starlight - Shine - Arkadia Is officially called Trilogy Of Lights but fans took this set unofficially as a tribute to Mikio Fujioka past away (Kami Band beloved guitarist) and YuiMetal withdrawal, both sad events in 2018. You don't know this and that's fine if you laugh and have fun but after knowing everything in order you probably get a different mood on this trilogy. I highly recommend to watch those songs from Metal Resistance album, hear a couple of more from Metal Galaxy and then come back to this trilogy to get a complete picture of this in your BM journey. Great reaction, thanks! First, "Arkadia" is totally my thing power/speed metal with nice guitar melodies and crazy drums. Easily in my top 3... and that's saying a lot. "Arkadia" is the last song of the "Trilogy of lights" and this time (Legend Metal Galaxy, Day 2) they used it as a "fake closer". And if you think this is a perfect closing, the actual closer for that concert was even crazier (I don't want to do spoilers). Fun fact: "Arkadia" has been performed live only ten times, and apart of this "fake" closing, it has always been the show opener or closer. 😎 Until next time!

I think back to the early days of Babymetal and the battles that were going on in Reddit, Twitter and here on KZread and all those haters who have, because of their hate, missed out on something Fantastic, given to the World of Heavy Metal! The Joy I have gotten over the years watching these Women grow up and the sonic mastery I have heard time and again from the Kami Band...its really sad that those people just missed it all. But hey, we know what all of this has been worth to the Music World! And People of the Future will get the opportunity to enjoy Babymetal the same as People of Today have enjoyed Bands of the Past! Great reaction. 'Arkadia' is the last song on the third album - it is also the last song of the "Trilogy of Lights" Jake Muller has mentioned in the comments below. They have used this as an opening song and a closing song and as a song somewhere towards the end ... I think it was the last song before the encore at this show (these young ladies are athletes, they rarely look tired or out of breath and it has to be a really hot arena to make them sweat ... they have definitely played at some of those) - it may have been the only time they played the Trilogy of Lights live in order one after the other as well. They do throw the occasional English phrase or word into their songs, perhaps a bit more often on the third album than was the case on the first two, although you may hear a bit of English on those as well.

Their sincerity is a lot of it, and there are few singers that exemplify that quality more than Su. They have used 'Arkadia' both as an opening song and as a closer. In this case, it was the last song before an encore of 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai'. Although the studio musicians on BABYMETAL tracks are often uncredited, Kami Band member Leda Cygnus played guitars and bass on the 'Arkadia' studio track.

Yeah, it's the last song. Along with Starlight and Shine comprises the Trilogy of Light. In 2018 they lost their lead guitarist, Mikio, in a tragic accident. He was just 36. And Yui was injured and had to leave the band. These three songs encompass the emotional journey through grief, acceptance and moving on, and triumph.

I think "epic" might be the word you have been searching for? It's a little overused, but I think it fits in this case. The song is indeed often played at the end of a show, and I agree that it's a perfect closer. For some I reason, I also like the march-like part in the middle a lot. I'm a difficult customer when it comes to these things, as I like epicness, but I don't like too much "pathos" (for lack of a better description). That's why I could never listen to bands like Manowar or Blind Guardian. But Arkadia is very cool. It's a fine line.

Great reaction! The pace of this song and the tempo of the singing sure works so good! I might suggest, as long as you using the reactor resource channel, "AMORE". I believe they have the Wembley 2016 version on there. It is a Su Metal solo, and I feel you may enjoy that one!
