The free update is insane and huge AND the DLC is insane and huge. No wonder it took so long. This is going to extend the game's longevity BIG TIME.

I love how every reaction video I watched so far had everyone so excited that they totally missed the first sign of the new villagers before the DLC announcement. The community is so happy it’s amazing.

I love how everyone was like " a animal crossing direct is there much they can talk about?". Now Nintendo is there " here is everything you wanted plus more you never knew you needed". The start of paid dlc I don't think this will be the only paid dlc the game will get but who knows. It's a little pricey but worth it.

They listened to us! They gave us everything we’ve been asking for & more :) (theres still no mini-games & nothing for multiplayer tho, which is a huge bummer. What I think majority of people wanted too) I just hope that the villages have tons more dialog as well 🤍 Oh & I love some of the new villagers! Especially the female deer

Being able to customize the items from Nooks that you couldnt before is awesome. I can finally get that red double door fridge Ive wanted for like forever. Lol

For anyone still watching the videos as we wait for the update. Here are following items from the first half that I haven't seen anyone mention: 1. There are 3 jars of jam on the 1space size table. 2. The drink w/straw can be brought at Nooks Cranny. 3. Shelves can now hold stuff. 4. There is a sushi tray at Nooks Cranny. 5. They show a scrapbook on the table. 6. Basket of breads, which means we'll likely have food items that are decor while ones that can be decor and edible.

I started playing animal crossing for the first time about a month ago. I haven't even started going in-depth into terraforming yet. This is going to be insane. ALSO I have a park on my island so I am very excited for that park fencing update

The DLC is like AC's endgame but made even more convenient to build certain themes and and places, and then being able to apply it to your own personal island. Seems like a really well thought out gameplay design for fans.

So I just had a thought: will it be possible to invite certain customers from HHP to your main island? Could this be a way of expanding what villagers your able to invite to your island, without using Mystery Tours or the campsite?
