I have never in my life heard anyone that sings with as much feeling and emotion, and to have that done by someone that is still only 16 years old is amazing. Yes, I also agree that she is the best singer I have heard in my 68 years.

Bami Rose, you just joined the small percentage of people on Earth who have learned of Angelina Jordan. She is the best kept secret, because her family requested Republic Records (signed in 2020 at age 14) to allow her as normal a childhood as possible. How very wise from her loving family. Angelina is the most accomplished child vocalist of all time. She won Norways' Got Talent at age 8 singing jazz. We are all here for the same reasons, for peace and love. As for your comment about me being one who lashes out, consider who it is that is lashing out here, and why? Before commenting, always ask yourself what would Angelina think of what you have to say? We are all a family with a special common interest. Let's keep it that way. On another note, I also thought she was six in her first Studio performance but was corrected by Rusty Shackleford, fan club administrator. He knows better than any of us. She had just turned seven.

Now 16 years old, living in Los Angeles, and is signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records have agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. She is working on a new album of original music which will be coming out next year. She recently returned back from Norway. She had a couple of sold out concerts she did and she will travel to Japan as well. Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a shoeless homeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. Great reaction - I felt the same the first time I saw Angelina - she really is sooo good, it is just difficult to comprehend. One in a lifetime singer, glad to live to see her !

It is not crazy to compare her voice to a female version of Elvis Presley. Angelina has always had a thick/rich/textured (whatever you want to call it) voice, but it has gotten fuller and richer through the years, and now at 16 her voice is almost as rich as Elvis' voice (and her voice will continue to develop). She is also a technically more advanced singer than Elvis ever was, and I believe also with a better understanding of music. She has still a lot of growth to do, and I wouldn't say her musical creativity is at the level of Michael Jackson or Freddie Mercury yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if she gets there. Nowadays music creation is more of a team work, but she is making some very good originals and some spectacular covers. In my opinion this cover is way better than Elvis' cover (which was almost identical to the original) and convey the lyrics much better.

Dear, Angelina Jordan sings since age 1,5. Yep. Since age 3 she practices singing six hours daily on 6 days a week. Winning NorwayGotsTalent in 2014 at age barely 8, a few month after that she was declared The National Treasure of Norway. Because of this and her humbleness and impeccable manners, today she is one of the most respected vocalists in the music industry. FACT. Every artist working with/for her, has a very good chance to get other engagements in the industry. Miss Jordan works with the best. No one would try something funny/mean with her. The best known version, however, was that done by Elvis Presley. It was his last No 1 song. In the Wikipedia entry of the origins of the song, Mark James is said to have remarked "That late one night, he was fooling around on his Fender guitar and using his Hammond organ pedals for a bass line and came up with what he thought was a catchy melody. I would hazard a guess that they were included to emphasise that children are very important to Angelina and her family. Confession! I have never been a great fan of Elvis Presley, although I do like some of his earlier recordings, and I had never heard of the song "Suspicious minds" but knew that Angelina would completely take ownership of it, and she did. It was beautiful. After listening to it several times, I decided to download the lyrics to see whether she kept to the original structure. She didn't, and the song is all the better for it. For me, that she started with the Bridge of the song is very significant and, I feel, very indicative of Angelina's "up front" transparency. She was declaring that it was important that their love did not die, and then carries on to say why she feels as she does. Others first say how they feel and then, almost as an afterthought, assure their love they don't want it to end. For me, it is whether I feel the singer is genuine about the situation and wishes it could be resolved or whether the singer understands the situation but thinks the blame is on her/his partner but feels the need to assure them they don't want it to end (until somebody else comes along).

The two youngest girls are Angelina's Uncle/manager's daughters and the older girl is Angelina's younger sister, Juliette. The video is produced by her grandmother Mery Zemoni who introduced her to jazz as a toddler. Angelina does her own arrangements. There are videos of Angelina recording at her school at age 6. Listening to the end would be more respectful toward the musicians and your viewers. I would have liked hearing it. 2. Best) So sorry you missed the piano playing by Grammy winning pianist Rob Christie at the end. He has been providing accompaniment to Angelina for a few years.
