We get to go down " The Allie Way " to see her cover of " I Will Always Love You " ! Her rich warm vibrato, going soft and loud finishing up with a beautiful head voice climb to end ! Got to talk with Jonny, the man with the purple shirt, the last time we flew over to see Allie. He's from Romania and is in Dublin while his daughter goes to law school. He's very generous with all the buskers and loves to see people have a good time. This crowd was quite sleepy. This performance was a street rehearsal prior to a festival show this past summer. Allie works very hard at all her talents, voice, guitar and piano. There's nothing harder to do than making what you do seem effortless. At only eighteen and already earning a decent living, she has the luxury to control her career path that doesn't have to include signing with a major label. Moms and Dads out there looking for teenage role models would be hard pressed to find a better one than Miss Allie Sherlock.

Allie's father Mark is always the one behind the camera for her channel videos from Grafton Street as he has done since she was 11 years old when starting out busking. BTW Gloria Gaynor loves Allie's performances of this song and she has followed Allie on Instagram since she first performed it some years ago.

I'm with you! I've seen some of her other videos. Sometimes the crowd will join in, and other times, they just don't seem to know what to do. She always seems to be able to handle it, either way, and that's really good. Loved this. Thanks, Maria! 😀
