Jung Kook’s official title is Main Vocalist (top position), a lead dancer (right below main), center of the group and sub rapper. He has some really good live performances from his album. The best imo are the theee iHeart performances with a live band (3 different videos): “SNTY”, “Hate You”, “Seven”. Other good lives are Audacy radio, Jimmy Fallon. I’m curious what you would think of the song “Somebody”. It’s one of my favorite songs. I have seen numerous reactor stop and say, “Is this REALLY JK”? He did some experimenting and you can really tell it in this song. There are two remixes from the album with western performers that JK idolized. “SNTY” remix with USHER, snd “3D” remix with Justin Timberlake. IU’s new song which V stars in as an actor is really good, too. It is called “Love Wins All”. V also did a song with Umi called “Wherever u r”.

Jungkook is the Main vocalist, and his position is the Center of the group. Jungkook is Global Pop Star for many good reasons. His vocal range and stage presence are just on another level. The backing vocals are himself he does his own backing vocals and adlibs when he does solo work. While as part of BTS he'll also do live alibs and they do backing vocals for each other and harmonies with each other. So live they'll often add some improvisations in and you'll never know where as Jungkook and BTS as whole never lipsync.

@@becauseisaac Just be warned about Seven (explicit version) and 3D. I like BTS and Jungkook but I don't listen to these songs at all. I find them quite sexist and am sad he chose to sing them. You'll understand what I mean when you'll listen to them.

Since many have answered your question as to JK’s position in BTS, I’m adding that this solo album is meant to first show emotions how much it feels to love and then the emotions F what it’s like to lose love. I’m not a huge fan of the first few collabs but I do like Jungkook’s part. Thanks for this! Not sure since you said you like Run but there is a live concert and dance practice where you may like Run BTS ( not the variety show to be confused). I love Ugh, Ddaeng by the rap line and there’s an explanation video for that too since it’s a lot of wordplay with the same word. 💜🫰🏻🇨🇦Oh! I forgot my main point! In lots of the BTS songs, Jungkook also does a lot of the ad libs!

My fav song from the album is Hate You! I went back to the beginning of your BTS reactions and watched forward....love that you give an opportunity to at least listen. My fav solo album is Layover. Have a copy and play all the time. Can't wait for your reaction to Jimin's Face and Jhopes Jack in the box solo releases. Then you can see diverse parts that make up the whole of BTS. The main and lead titles exists in several industries in South Korea (you can find them also on the credits on videogames or movies) and are kind of similar to seniority roles in Western work organizations. They're like a mark of both what's expected of them (talents, involvement) and their prior experience. "Main" roles usually include some extra tasks other than performance, like mentorship, or in the case of singers, the recording of guide tracks

Jungkook is the brilliant main singer of BTS. You should watch him live, or even his collab with Usher. The reason he is their main vocals is the stability of his vocals when dancing full out. He has a large range can fill in any other part including the fast raps. In the begining he sang all the vocal guides for the other members to learn songs. All 7 members have solo work alongside BTS and have each very different musical identities. This is the reason BTS music covers so many genres. As the 7 members are songwriters and producers. RM is the main lyricists and Suga producer who has won awards producing other artists. This is the reason BTS are not really typical Kpop. They have had creative autonomy from the begining, the company acting more as quality control. That is why atypically they have lasted 12 years. Having lived together for 8 years of those. They are all doing their national service at the moment. As they aged into this they used the time they could not be a group for solo work. All as successful as soloists. Jungkook who has always favoured the pop genre has solidified BTS world domination. They have over 750 awards between them last time I looked. If you are interested in learning more about the rags to riches story of these goofy guys TAYLOR MARI GUIDE TO THE BANGTAN 7. ....makes 45 minutes seem like 10.

That's how you even found out about Jungkook because BTS got so big that preventing them getting radio plays wiping out views and plays didn't work because ARMY votes for all of them no matter our favourites. Split the fandom you hurt your favourites. That is if you are a genuine fan and not one of the paid shills who come on these streams trying to sow discord in the fandom. After all if they can split voting into solo stans artists only get one seventh of the votes then industry backed mediocre artists can win again.

They are seven individual, unique, talented superstars that as a group create a supernova. At 67 yo, I can honestly say I have never seen a group like them before. Unlike western 'boy bands' they grew up together, are truly like brothers, not egotistical and want to continue to be part of the BTS group. They have all re-signed contracts a 3rd time with BigHit Music to start in 2025 when they all get out of mandatory military service. Despite, each of them having successful solo music as well; because they support each other and respect each other to allow for personal, individual growth.
