I genuinely think they would at least have been less hated. I see so many people hating on Jennie (that started when bp was jobless and continued ever since) or the whole group calling them overrated and as a fan you're tired to defend them while they have nothing new. When you see amazing girlgroups serving girl crush bops several time a year or girlgroups giving diversity... You just grow out of it. You don't expect anything from them, you'll stop to follow them and wish for something new. They become just another celebrity you follow on social media and maybe when they finally release something you may be happy. Anyway Stan dreamcatcher they are serving lots of diverse bops and comeback very frequently and every songs from their albums are title track their discography is a masterpiece

The thing about BTS performing boy with Luv is that the dance is simple enough where the boys could show there NATURAL stage presence rather than focusing on perfecting the move since its not hard to perfect. This was the era where the boys could have fun on stage because the simple dance allowed them to. That made Boy with luv a great era stage presence wise even though it was not there best song.

I so agree. I always hate their songs on first listen. I tell everyone that I hate it. Then I start liking it and then loving it and watching it all the time. So weird! Maybe their music has some addictive beats in it?

streaming endlessly like a slave is unhealthy but when you complain about your faves not winning something or not getting the attention they deserve dont come for people who stream cos streaming honestly DOES matter. it increases chances of winning digital awards and also just promotes them in general, more views = ppl are more likely to click.

Tniah Nation in my opinion yeah it is..line distribution was disrespectful..what they’re doing to poor onda is what cube was doing to Shuhua. Girl basically only sings “you better run” and is in the back the ENTIRE song. It’s not a downgrade because it’s EDM it’s a downgrade because the choreography bores me and the chorus is an instrumental.. not to mention the gave Mia basically all the lines and her OWN dance break. I get that she’s center but right now it’s literally Mia and the other girls. Even Adios was better at showcasing the members than Dun dun. Doing two EDM comebacks in a row was lazy on their part. That’s why it’s a downgrade.

I kept getting it confused with a KZread I used to watch as a kid, Kpopp. Looking back I would always forget the second p and be so confused when music started popping up. Always thought it was a group or something. Also looking back I feel many regrets for not being curious and getting into Kpop earlier so then I could have found BTS so much sooner. I swear I want to strangle young me sometimes.

Well.. that's,. The entertainment industry for ya. You need to stay relevant, or you'll lose fans. I used to be a black pink fan too. They were my first ever favorite gg. Fresh, super hardcore girl crush. But then,. We realize that that there are others who are just.. better. And with no comebacks, or even with a comeback, nothing's new. Especially if you stan an underrated group, I think you should take streaming very seriously if you want your faves to be happy, feel appreciated and gain popularity.

Except for the fact that views are being deleted by KZread if they detect mass streaming, just look at what happens every time Bts comes back. I can't understand why people don't get it. KZread wants the views to be ORGANIC. If you're streaming, it leads to false data for the potential advertisers because there's no way you're watching an ad for every view. Not just that but when you stream while doing something else, you're not watching ads at all!! People need to realize that KZread is owned by Google, just like Adsense (which gets youtubers monetized... or not. It's THEIR call).

Tbh nah, YGE needs to work on their production, I agree with what the other person in this comment said, their comebacks remind me of how rookie groups would have their comebacks in their first year, still establishing their sound and not yet stepping up. With the amount of songs they have they would still be considered as rookies, but with the span of time they are already in this industry they are not. Rookies are getting ahead of them. YGE seriously need to work on their production, not give BP a comeback like Kill This Love after a DDU DDU. They deserve more than that.

It’s not about streaming itself. It’s about the kpop fans that force it down our throats and make it seem like that’s something we must all do to support our faves and if we don’t then we don’t care about our groups so much or want to see them succeed like what you just said lol At this point we are all aware of the fact that streaming is a vital part of kpop and helps with the groups’ music to be more out there and for their popularity to grow. If you choose to stream as much as you please then go ahead! There’s no shame with that. I just think many of you guys fail to realize that there’s many other ways to support our faves and to help them succeed without having to just stream. We should be allowed to support our faves in any way we want to without being forced or belittled for not doing so. Streaming and having a large amount of views aren’t the epitome of success. There’s way more to it than that and that’s all there is to it. 😌☕️

Upopular opinion/confession: I think remixes and dance breaks during award shows does nothing but decrease the rewatch value of the performances. To be honest, I haven't found many artists' performances fun to watch because either the remix is just uneasy to my ears or the dance breaks are just not it...for me at least. :/

Here's my take on the blackpink situation. Blackpink is a group of singers and rappers. Their job is to release music. If they wanted to become famous for their personalities they could've become youtubers or something. U cant hate on people for unstanning blackpink cause of their lack of music because it's a perfectly reasonable thing to do. If a group of MUSICIANS that you really like stops releasing MUSIC, why would you want to stay? To see their pretty faces in their photoshoots? To throw ur money at them by buying their dolls? And if it's for their personalities or whatever, u gotta know that theres plenty of people in the world with good personalities and even more interesting personalities than the members of blackpink, but that isnt all u should have to be famous. How is it fair that they get to make money off of their personalities and still get to keep the label of musicians when there's plenty of people with great personalities making great music but not even getting a fraction of the popularity that blackpink does. And I'm not trying to hate on the girls here cause I know that it's their company's fault, but when their company plays this much influence on their careers, it kind of doesnt make sense to hate the company but support the girls no matter what they do. Sure, its yg's fault for not giving them comebacks, but it's also yg's fault that they're as famous as they are

thanks for not being a brainwashed kpop stan. im so tired of people who just say "leave them alone". they chose to be stars (id rather say performers). in my opinion, as long as its not bullying or hating, you can talk about them how you want to. and I THINK that blackpink are models and great performers- but the amount of ads bother me so much- i feel like they put money over fans and you can not only say its YGs fault cause a lot of YG artists simply left the entertainment. in addition to that, south korea isnt that bad- they have laws, blackpink have their own choices and psychologists and lawyers. they chose to be ygs models- and i chose not to stan performers with only boring break-up concepts, millions of ads but like 12 songs and 4393920 remixes.
