I don't own PlayStation so I never played any The Last of Us game but damn, this game looks good. Also 9:09 I disagree, I think it is very interesting concept that is very rarely used in games or movies. I mean playing as the "bad guy" can make you understand their perspective and reasoning. No longer is the game black and white. No longer is the game simple good guy vs bad guy. Now you have this whole grey area that you would otherwise never see and I think that is good and I would like to see this more in games. I think people disliked The Last of Us 2 so much, because the game made them think and feel bad for some of their actions, no longer they were this morally superior character, which came as a shock to them.

It really depends on the type of game tho. I thought it was the best choice in The Last of Us 2. But imagine if we got to play as Micah Bell in Red Dead 2 for the latter half? Now THAT does not make sense. I am all for playing from the villain’s side because it is cool and unique, but it has to be done tastefully and make sense. I say it still makes sense in The Last of Us 2.

the bullet didnt actually penetrate tommys skull, i think it grazed his cheek and took out his eyeball, judging by his scar and glass eye in the farm, also joel makes a joke about him having a thick skull in the museum flashback, which i thought was pretty ironic

I like the game, even a little more than the first one. I like how they show that Joel actions in the first game kinda have consequences, and that continues with Abby and Ellie stories. It's not a masterpiece, but it's good and I don't think it deserved most of the hate (also I understand some of the "negative" arguments). PS. I don't know why KZread suggested me to become a member of your channel, but showing Jacksepticeye's channel

You know I’ve seen a lot of people reacting to this video and the people that don’t like it to begin with always are torn on saying that they don’t like it at the end but yet can’t give that a specific reason just like Dunkee stated

Well you will never find a good argument why they dislike the game if you keep looking at the new comments in your comment section. The guy who mentioned a 4 hour long review is correct. He isn't there to list every single problem with the game but rather tell Dunkey "Hey, there are videos out there giving reasons why they dislike the narrative and you saying they do not know why they don't like it makes you sound rather ignorant". Dunkey could've just went to the youtube search bar and type in "TLOU 2 review 4 hours" but he didn't. Should people just send him all the links to every single negative review of the game? It's a completely foolish way to read that comment

Daxells i gota completely disagree with ya If you think the original is a must play then you must play Part 2 the original leaves you on a huge cliffhanger and the team behind last of us put so much care into Part 2 and the “fans” shredded it before it even hit the market. Im on my third playthrough and the story is still getting me and the gameplay and mechanics are so polished the original feels abysmal in comparison, I urge everyone who loves the original to give it a fair shot just be open to it.

@@eziospaghettiauditore8369 I didn’t find it boring or monotonous in any stretch of the imagination, the stealth in the first game is way more of a joke then part 2 and the story telling was much more original then the part 1’s stereotypical man transports girl for a job but changes his mind due to finding his lost humanity through her and gains an attachment due to the death of his daughter. Iv heard that story many times over, where as part 2 is very unorthodox and different. I defend it because I personally loved it, it was great and if it were any other franchise nobody would care but because it’s last of us everybody throws a fit like they know better for the franchise then the guy who created it. Your name is based on a character from assassins creed literally the most copy and paste franchise of all time, don’t tell me what’s boring lmao

Days Gone was actually a really great game. The story was really great, the visuals looked stunning a lot of the time, and I’m glad more people get to play it on pc and ps plus. Imo TLOU2 does everything right except the story, but the reason I excuse some games not having a good story is because it’s not a story based game, TLOU2 is. Imo, if a story based game doesn’t have a good story, it’s not a good game.
