Actually, TREASURE is big in Japan. They always topped on Line music whenever they released Japanese song even YG didn’t promote them well. They held 26 shows in 8 cities with 400k+++ attendees and this Kyocera done was additional concert tho . Live viewing was held at 78 local theaters at Japan to broadcast live performance.

YG doesn't do mediaplay and never manipulate treasure numbers to make them look popular. They even barely promote them unlike other 4th gen groups nowadays. They're the most organic group out there.

As a YG stan I can tell you that most fans of YG artists (relatively there are fewer fans of YG artists vs other companies) don't dwell on album outputs because we know their album performances are only teasers. We save our money for concerts because that's where the REAL deal is! Some fans attend multiple (and I mean MULTIPLE) legs of the same tour. They travel to various countries/locations to experience the concert over and over again.

Treasure is the biggest 4th gen boygroup especially in Thailand. They will have 3 days sold out concerts there and 2 day sold out concerts in Indonesia. Their Philippines concert ticket is as expensive as that of blackpink but still day 2 sold out and their day 1 is on it's way of being sold out too.. they're literally big in Asia and western fans already asking for world tour but it looks like YG is taking it slow.

Treasure the only kpop act to be invited in Japan's biggest music festival "summer sonic" this year because of their feat selling out their Japan tour, topping all music charts with their 1 minute anime edit song in Japan.. they're big in both Japan, Korea and globally and they're just a 2 yr old group.

Treasure is really big in Japan, Korea and many countries in South East Asia.....and they are doing Asia Tour right now

Treasure is sooo much more popular in Southeast Asian countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia. YG hasn't targeted the Western market. Japan seems to love Hybe groups but Treasure is also one of the more popular bgs there. Their 1-2 month Japan tour has 290,000+ sold-out attendance which holds the record as the biggest first tour to Japan for any kpop bg. Anyways, their concerts are incredible, especially their energy and live vocals with the live band.

Actually YG are well loved in Japan. Almost all YGA have loyal fanbases in Japan. YG has a branch (if that's what you call it) in Japan. They have trainees in Japan since they have an office there.

Treasure sold out Kyocera full capacity 55k x 2 days Saitama super arena 37k x3 days..they sold out all their Japan tours and became the youngest and first kpop act ever to have the largest attendees in their first tour in Japan.. they're big that's why kpoppies on Twitter are threatened and hate them

Treasure is a very talented group with phenomenal stage presence. Many people think that they don't have a big fan base, but the problem is that YG still doesn't promote them in the American market, so they are not that famous in the west. But the treasure fandom grows more every day, without the need for them to promote themselves here. They are having a slow and organic growth, although they are already breaking it in Asia with their tour. I hope you continue to react to them. Because YG promotes their artists in the Asian markets first to stabilized and strengthen the fandoms in Asia first before they take them out to the Western markets. YG's marketing strategy is different from other companies that sends their idols to the US and European countries first, YG send their artists to the Asian Markets first then to the Western markets.

Treasure is not the flop group that the people in twitter always imply. They may not be the biggest but they do better in kcharts and they are popular in Japan and other Asian countries. The thing is that YG do not promote them well esp in western countries. Plus people ignore them just because they aee from YG, (most hated kpop company) Glad that Treasure has Talents that made them to be recognized. Thanks for reacting to it.

Thankfully I haven’t seen anyone downplaying Treasures success! I just don’t have many treasure fans on my timeline so I was blind as to how successful they are. But good for them! They are amazing and I’m excited to dive into them more ❤️

The problem with Stream stats is, if you have dedicated streamers you can really get high numbers even just a 100 streamers who could stream properly and are very dedicated they can get high numbers (no hate to any group here). Some fans are more into Concerts compare to Album buying and Streaming. Korean Members of Treasure are also very Popular in Japan and this is not only one city, KYOCERA was an additional concert stop for their JAPAN Tour it's the last stop. They've been touring in Japan since November until January. And if your wondering about the LS, Treasure Makers are crazy when it comes to Treasure merch, they are dedicated in buying Treasure Merch. I remember i had to wait for the 3rd or 4th restock of Lightstick before i was able to buy one because when YG drop the pre-order it was sold out in just a few minutes.

"Views, Streams, bulk buying can be manipulated but the number of concert attendees can't"😊 They soldout that place in 2 shows (110k people in just 2 shows). 300k+ attendees for live concert and their concerts are also shown live on theaters all around Japan which is also soldout, this is for Japan tour Only. Now they are on their South East Asia Tour 😊. And they are from YG their concert tickets are so expensive, in fact I am from the Philippines and their VIP tix is the highest, even more expensive than Blackpink and Seventeen.

Treasure is the only rookie group that survived a 1 year long music hiatus. If that happened to another group it would be difficult for them. Treasure has one of the most loyal core fandom.

Yes they are big, but people is always discrediting them. They have this power of fill a dome twice! Maybe our fandom isn't that good at streaming or doesn't massively buy albums to reach huge numbers. Not everyone can fill a dome, but treasure yes!! even though yg doesn't promote them well

People ignore and hate them just bec they are fr YG, and maybe bec they are carrying all the misconceptions abt YGAs. But good thing Talent never betrays. And they survived and still getting recognitions fr people w.their talents and good personalities. Thanks for checking them out.

Yes TREASURE really popular specially in Southeast asia, Japan & some other Asian country (from what i see YG still not targeting the western market for them). & Treasure fan(Treasure Maker/teume) are really crazy when its comes to merch & any treasure stuff so its not suprise if u see like only 1 of 10 teume that doesn't have a lightstick (cuz if YG/treasure sell something its like war/ its soldout like few min). For some other fan/fandom who still not know them treasure maybe doesn't really that big but their fandom are really royal & solid/stable thats why even tho they are like on hiatus for 1year or more they still popular (not many group can do this specially for like gen4) Funfact: according to the survei 2022 Treasure biggest fanbase is from INDONESIA, THAILAND & PHILIPPINES. [40%(fanboy) : 60% (fangirl)]

I see where you coming from so let me quickly share about Treasure. Treasure is the most love 4th generation boy group in Asia and yet to step their foot in west. We are patiently waiting for Treasure to come to west and promote (and western Teumes are always jealous of Asian Teumes). Nowadays kpop focus too much on west especially USA they debut and straight goes to promote in America but YG pattern seems different. For them It's step by step Asia>west> Middle East countries> followed by other part of continent. Blackpink was also first promoted in Asia Korea, Japan + SEA so Treasure would have the same YG pattern.

TREASURE was not yet promoting on West, they start promoting on South East Asia and Japan.

I usually don't like reacting to westerner reaction on kpop because their kpop knowledge is limited to BTS & BLACKPINK and groups that promote in West. Treasure is 2yr old group but went hiatus for 1.1yr but still one of the famous 4th gen group. They've solid fandom in Asia and ofcours in west as well. Western Teumes have been begging YG to promote them in West since they're the only 4th gen group who's still yet to promote in west despite having stable fandom in west. But YG don't wanna behave like other companies promoting a 2yr old group in west without stabilizing their fandom in Korea and Asia. YG FIRST FOCUS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ASIA and they give lot of inportance to Korea & Japan since in the long run it's them who keep idols on top. Tbh, Asian are the one who stays loyal to kpop and kpop idols even in their busy life. Look at their senior Bigbang a 15yr old group still on top cus they've always been Asian and Korean favorite group +.always on top even as solo cus many idols even if they're from famous group they struggle as solo but not Bigbang. Some idols who are popular in west are struggling in Korea. 2023 might be a year for Treasure to promote in West as they might have west tour after Asia tour and now YG don't have to worry about Asia since they taking the Asian market ❤ Continue to love Treasure. Thanks for all this info. I do find it a little unfair to say that westerners are limited to bts and Blackpink knowledge. Of course we are going to know information on groups who are promoted in the west more, because …… that what’s promoted here. However doesn’t mean we aren’t aware of other groups 😍 I have known that treasure was popular, but I hadn’t seen how popular they were in asia until literally seeing this video. I’m very excited to learn more about them.

Yes they're that big in Japan, fans even demanded for more consecutive days concert in one city. I think they sold out for 2 days concert in that KYOCERA DOME. Likewise in other cities they have like 3-4 days concert (sold out) in one city if I'm not mistaken.

1:13 "is TREASURE this big?" To answer your question, they're under YG so of course they're big. That's just like asking if SKZ is big when they're under JYP. Edit: I sound condescending there, that's not how I wanted it to sound. To fans who are reading let me clarify, I know both TREASURE and SKZ did not have any easy trip climbing to the top, I know being under YG or JYP does not guarantee them immediate success they had to prove to the whole Kpop world that they're worthy of being called a top product of the BIG3.

Part of the reason you don’t see Treasure around as much in international fandom spaces is because they’ve been touring a lot and sort of avoiding too much limelight in terms of obvious push to fans likely due to losing two members suddenly. They had a comeback which was popular, but they’ve had a bit of a setback they need to work through before they can fully reestablish themselves. Obviously they are quite popular anyway, they have large fandoms in SEA and Japan which is common for YG artists especially their boy groups, so they are set for now until they start to make a push domestically again probably later this year.
