@@londarousey8767 I disagree my friend. We had talent some of those years. Tannehill may have been decent in Tennessee but it was because of the running threat from Derrick Henry so you had to respect the play action. Tannehill's best years as a dolphin was when Jay Ajayi ran for 120 yds plus per game. (Pattern sound familiar?) Ill even go deeper. Tannehill had a mediocre record at Texas A&M. After Tannehill leaves, shockingly Jonny Manziel becomes a heisman trophy candidate with the same exact team. I've suffered many years of season tickets watching Tannehill. What people didn't see on television were receivers complaining because they were wide open and he didn't throw them the ball. In dolphins practices they literally told the defense to take it easy on him because he kept throwing picks. There was nothing wrong with Tennessee's coach, its just the man who touches the ball the most is garbage.

Funny how many people who might have watched the Titans play ONCE this season if not even the past couple of seasons have so much to say now.... Vrabel was an average coach. He took over a team that had just won a playoff game against KC Chiefs. It isnt like he came in after one of the 2-14 seasons, no he took over a playoff winning team. Defenses figured out his 1970s offense, stack the box with 8 and Titans are doomed.

I believe this wasn't the best move because Vrabel is a great coach. That being said I can see the limitation from an offensive perspective, so it a great opportunity for them to get Eric Bienemy for the offence and he's still a very disciplined mindset when it comes to his players just like Vrabel. If you're going to make that move, be smart and keep the tough mindset there and just add the offensive mind.

I can't put this on Coach Vrabel because the Ownership stop letting him build his team the way he needed to fit his style of play. When AJ Brown was released, all of the focus went towards Derek Henry. Why do you think that his rushing was so down this year, because he's a 1 and done back, lol. That's why the good teams have dominant Backs and Receivers, not just 1 or the other. There's not a lot of Barry Sanders...

I like Vrabel and agree with all these analysts, but losing twice to the Texans especially at home in Oilers colors was the nail in the coffin. That team is now hosting home field in the playoffs by default. Titans under Vrabel missed their window after the loss to the Bengals. They weren't as good as their record showed, but they were the team of destiny holding that top spot with all those injuries. Bengals took their spot and had no business being in that Super Bowl. I hope the Titans go after Jim Schwartz. Their defense reminded me of the old school Oilers when he came back as consultant. Titans losing to the Bengals when the defense played so well is a travesty.

I’m tired of people acting surprised. You brought in a GM that didn’t hire him. He gave it one year and the team didn’t perform. How many times have we seen a GM come in, give the old guys who’s been there one year and he cleans house so he can build his own team. Is it a mistake to move on from Vrabel? Yes. Is it a surprise? No.
