Danai wrote episode 4, she is an amazing story teller. She has gotten awards for her writing, has been doing this for years so we are in safe hands. Critics/reviewers said episode 4 is their favorite so far out of the series and even went as far as to say episode 4 is one of the best episodes in the franchise.

Great episode. Michonne can’t hide that she’s the Baddest Bitch there is. Also it’s Officer Grimes you can’t eye fuk the consignee not consignees 😂 I love how Rick pulled the rug over Thornes eyes this episode. I mean Rick is protecting a random lady when he never did the same for Thorne. Thorne talking bout Rick is her only family is freaking hilarious considering she was talking to his wife 😂. I was so happy when Michonne got her Katana back and the music when she swipe that walker was Boss. Also Grimes 68 is Rick’s walker kill in one sitting which Michonne beat bcuz she was 😤. Anyway they bout to have that much needed talk and loving .

The family thing is wild BC is he really your family Pearl ?? LOL Thats good to kno about the "Grimes 68". I assume Michonne is already over that total by now. I cant wait for EP4. Its going to be my fav I think !!!

Michonne's suit had orange strips for that she was a consignee not red.

@@ApocalypticRetrospective I watch on AMC+ but at 40:00 Michonne is in the background with lots of light and Thorne in the foreground so you can tell the difference. Michonne's is like a burnt orange.

That makes more sense. I was wondering why Michonne would get the Red over Rick, especially if they haven't seen her kill people.

Grimes 68 is the record kill count in a single shift. Michonne probably beat it too. 😂

Kinda felt this was spinning its wheels for a lot of the runtime. Felt like the action setpiece, which was exciting, would have been a more interesting scene time do some Michonne and Rick talkin', get some action in AND just feel like proceedings add some energy to proceedings. Ending was great though!

I was expecting them to talk more too but I guess they really couldn’t. still a wonderful episode but i prefer the others more.

@ApocalypticRetrospective Yeah, it's like they were kind of constrained by the basic premise of the show. 'Rick and Michonne are together! The fans have waited for this! Now they can show their love and we can see how they feel after all this time and what ot finally means to know keeping the faith was the right thing to do and...' 'Actually...no we can't. Because they're at The CRM. We can do precisely non of that.' 'Oh. You're right. Hmmm' They could have made more of the mission, make that where most of the episode occurs, then you have excuses for Rick and Michonne to go 'off book', really test Thorn's patience for Rick, maybe find out she's reporting to Jadis. It was an OK episode, just the sort of 'construction' kind of felt off. Nice tee-up for next ep though!
