Guides are great for the basics but what really made me feel like I was getting to know the members personalities and interaction/dynamics was watching behind the scenes like SKZ RECORDs or Two Kids Rooms over the years.

When the group became 8 instead of 9 Bang Chan as the leader tightened the dancing and made it more cohesive. But all the members work well together and feed off each others' skills They are the Stray Kids, a great group, not just 8 separate performers.

I personally love Miroh's choreography because Felix participated in it. It is inspired by the New Zealand Māori dance 'haka', which was traditionally used as a customary way to welcome visiting tribes and to invigorate warriors as they headed into battle. The haka is not only a display of physical prowess but also an embodiment of cultural pride, strength, and unity. Since Felix is from Australia, he knew about it. There is even a video of him dancing the haka in a school play :D

As a kiwi I was so proud when I saw it and thought they incorporated it perfectly as i consider miroh to be there "war cry" in an entertainment industry way.. it that makes sense

Miroh means Maze in korean. Theyre talking about a city jungle. And the choreo is impactful because it's insoired from the Maori Haka.

Bias: why not go OT8? Lots of us start with one but end uo biasing them all because each one is talented and attaching in a different way...

Choreographies: they have various choreographers proposing choreos, they oick, adjust and work hand in hand. BUT Danceracha (dance team aka Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix) also sometimes have a choreo idea in the middle of the song's composing or arranging process, and so they work hand in hand with 3Racha (the producers team ) and there's been songs where the sound has been adjusted to match the moves instead of the other way round. Conveying their message with every media, lyrics, music, sounds, dance and MV is at the heart of Stray Kids' identity.

Also with the megaverse one you watched, it was more of a staging practice video for a performance, that’s why all the members had vests with their names on them. So they weren’t dancing as full out as in a normal dance practice vid 😊

2024 Skz guide by Chandora's world. It's thorough so it's long but Stays won't mind.

Def look for the longest 2024 guide you can find! Even 2023 ones are outdated already. Also ones that say “spoiler warning” simply mean there will be small clips from their songs in it. I find that’s the best way to match voices/looks throughout the years with faces!! The longer the better though.

There are two long but very thorough guides to Stray Kids that give a lot of personal details about the members, the 2023 version is by TeaNoSuga and the 2024 version is by Chandra's World. However, if you want to get a good impression about their personalities, plus have a lot of laughs, I recommend watching the SKZ Code episodes. There are 46 total episodes so far. The number of episodes for segments vary. Most are from two to four episodes per segment. Some are role playing (like SKZ family reunion), some are playing games (like SKZ Chaotic Baseball Team), and some circumstantial like a session at the Gym with Changbin, or a flying yoga lesson. My favourites are the ones where they let them loose at a country house for a weekend, or at Jeju Island, etc., where they are themselves. Of those, I think my favourite is the four-episode Time Out show. The most recent show is the 2-episode 2024 SKZ Conference. Episode 2 aired two days ago. In this segment they are presented with bad situations they could face, and they have to debate which one is the worse one. Hilarious! But there are two segments where the staff expose them and compliment them. It gives a lot of insights about their personalities.

I think the difference in choreography talks a lot about who is are the choreographers and the porpoise of the choreography. I don't remember they ever performing Boxer's choreography on stage, but Megaverse was created for the stage, the choreography doesn't work without the dancers. Megaverse DP was recorded as they were preparing for a show, and it can be a lot to look at, but after watching the performance video everything will makes sense.

My fav song and dance is Scars. Charmer, Victory Song, and Wolfgang are great too.

I’ve been a big fan of these boys for the last 3-4 years. I’ve never been able to pick a bias. Don’t feel bad if you can’t either. I adore all 8. They are all so talented. Some of my favorite dance practices are Easy and Domino. I pretty much feel every song they release is a banger as well. Fun music videos to check out if you haven’t already are Cheese (a slap back at the haters), Domino (more of a teaser video, but fun) and Up All Night. Also worth checking out all of their “One Take” recording videos. Really get to see their vocal talents I. Them. ❤🥰

Glad you liked Double Knot! Check out the English version of it. You don’t have to react to it per se but you really should check out BEWARE dance practice. The synchronization is insane and the dance itself is fire. The song is one of my favorites when I’m angry cuz it’s just a mood.

The guides are great for general info but for me I really got to know them through watching their funny videos and shows like SKZ Code and Finding Stray Kids. Plus they're super entertaining.

The best choreografies of StrayKids in my opinion is Boxer Easy and Domino. Boxer and Easy because they fit so well to to the song, and Domino because it is so creative!

they make their own music completely (from writing to producing it, editing it) and for ceograhy* i think they do it mostly on their own but they have someone helping them.

Picking a bias in Skz is notoriously difficult. Which is why a lot of us are OT8.

From what I have heard, as of now almost everything is done in house. Including the choreography. They used to get help for choreo, but from what I hear now it is done through the Dance Racha team. Mostly Hyungjin and Lee Know but Felix as well. Felix has 2 belt belts for Taekwondo and 63 metals. Lee Know also has 5 belt belts for various martial arts. They are such a talented group....

Honestly, I would watch compilations of them all interacting with each other. It’s the best way to see more of their personality and understand their relationships with each other better. Two kids room is a good place for both interactions and background info.

Definitely recommend "the Complete 2024 stray Kids guide" like everybody else did. If it is too long we’re find with you dividing the video into parts but plz do that on since the most popular 2023 is outdated and imo there isn’t enough about the members themselves and is more music focused

They have a playlist called SKZ CODE they upload to, random vids of rehearsals, mini games, vlogs, etc

Don't worry about choosing only one. You can have everyone as a bias, it is the best way. one of the practice dance that you should see is my pace, silent cry, charmer, district 9, etc. Also Levanter's videos, Voices and i am you, are very good. In order to recognize each one, you could start by watching several guide videos, or games to make it easier. more fun. I would like your reactions to kingdom's presentations (it was a competition program which they won) I hope it helps you.

You keep replacing your favorite. That's hilarious. That's the Stray Kids effect. You find another "better/favorite" until you give up because they're so good. (It goes the same for bias: every one is a bias wrecker until you give up and declare OT8, lol). Get Cool: I'm not a big fan of the song but I love watching this practice video because the choreo is so smooth (and fun)! Double Knot & Miroh: Two of my favorite dance practices. Full view choreo is the best and these smooth. Both have impressive sync with landing (which is incredible timing), and in Miroh especially you can hear it on the floor. Boxer: I watch very frequently as this song has become one of the top songs on repeat these days and watch it in my head when listening. But if you haven't, check out the street version. So fun! I may watch this in my head when listening, but Hyunjin and Changbin headbutting at the bell in the street version gets inserted for being so awesome. IMO, Boxer and Megaverse are apples to oranges. The thing I wish for the Megaverse one is the back up dancers dressed more distinctly different from SKZ. If you haven't yet, I would put Victory Song high on your to-do list (I could write out my playlist but I'll leave you with that one for now).

if you want to get to know skz you can watch a guide, but if you really want to know them watch raw moments (for example “skz being kids” “skz being siblings” “skz 5star/rockstar core”)

I think Skz is the only group i can't be consistent with my bias. Everytime i picked one, the other member keep growing on me at the same time 😂.

you’re doing skz’ best dance practices and nobody’s suggested TOP (skz japanese channel) or TA????? songs + choreo are top tier man, they gotta be in the next one 🔥

So the reason the Megaverse video is so different is because it was an actual concert rehearsal, hence the ton of dancers and the name tags for the cameramen, which is why it’s busier and the video is less polished.

With MIROH some of the choreo is inspired by the Hakas of the Maori people, which is traditionally a war chant conveying courage and strength, which Chan was influenced by I think partially because NZ is a stone's throw from Australia. But Chan has said that those parts of the choreo are directly influenced by Hakas.

If you like boxer you should totally watch the street mv for it. Honestly all their street mvs are so fun and shows them just goofing off and having fun.

I don’t blame you to not being able to focus on megaverse a lot, it was a stage practice so they needed there back dancers maybe that’s why you couldn’t see a lot. I was confused too when I watched the video for the first time, even though I like the video a lot I feel like I need to see the choreography in a closer perspective to be able to focus. But after watching it for many times now my eyes got used to it😂😂 the choreo is really cool once your eyes get used to the video and once you figure out everything happening 🤣🤣 for me personally I love boxer. I just like the song, the vibe, the outfits and the dance itself. It brings me a lot of memories 🥹💕

The 2024 guide that people are suggesting is good because it goes into every little detail about SKZ and the members but keep in mind the following: - it's 2 hours long (which might be a turn off for you, or you may just not have time to react to a 2 hour long video haha) - it has a lot of text to read - it also spoils a lot of their songs/MVs, which I'm not a fan of when people are still new and haven't seen a lot of their MVs If you don't mind those things, then I'd say go for it. If you prefer something lighter, there are shorter guides that add a bit of info about the members plus some funny clips about their personalities. Maybe ask for suggestions on that on your next video. There are also fan made compilations with funny moments which is good for a laugh and get a feel of their personalities. SKZ also have some good content on their channel, like the SKZ Code series.

if you want to learn smth about the members watch EXchange island 1&2 it’s like funny to watch because they did their own „dating show“ and it’s really cool

I think TeanoSuga creates the most in depth and up to date SKZ guides, may want to check out her channel!

You should watch a 2024 guide as the 2023 guides are outdated, also if you can't pick a bias & you like all of the members just consider yourself as an ot8! If not and you've already found a bias but another member catches your eye then you have both a bias and biaswrecker. I also recommend you listen to my pace if you haven't and boxer street ver, they are both interesting and I hope you watch it!!
