Thanks for the reaction! Sigrid’s songs are always bangers with a little something extra. Love the music video as well, a lot of creativity and visual tricks in it that are rarely talked about. As for the one you’ve heard, it must have been Don’t Kill My Vibe? Or Don’t Feel Like Crying. Or Strangers, perhaps? “No matter if it’s a ballad or if it’s an upbeat song, they’re all quite in your face. Because that’s my favourite type of pop: pop that hits you in any way, whether it hits your nerves, an emotion or just hits you because you want to dance.” - Sigrid I think people saying it’s too bad she mainly focuses on pop don’t quite realize that _she wants to_ primarily work in this genre; her favorite genre, right now. She could easily become a “Fiona Apple-type singer-songwriter,” to quote a friend. Anyway, I also recommend her Watermelon Sugar Sigrid-ized cover, her Everybody Knows cover, Home to You (live), and several others. Burning Bridges - music video and the Up Close, Acoustic video is a must. :) Missing those double reactions in the vein of Animal, Shield, etc. Those are arguably some of the most interesting ones. :))

Thanks so much!! Hopefully you’ll continue the journey, if not at an “Aurora pace,” at least now and then. ☺️ Sigrid’s a remarkable singer, check out her Instagram post, singing a bit of Adele’s Easy on Me.. Suggestions from a Sigrid fan, I hope you have a list (!) ❤️: Strangers - music video + acoustic Home to You - live at NRK1 + This Christmas lyric video (perfect Xmas timing) Don’t Kill My Vibe - music video + acoustic Vi esje herfra Hvem er hun (Arif & Sigrid) Everybody Knows Watermelon Sugar Burning Bridges - music video + Up Close Acoustic video Mirror - music video + acoustic (either the NRK one or her “by the piano” performance). As one person said: “Her transition between modal and falsetto registers is seamless. As an amateur part-time singer, it is so damn hard.” There’s more, but.. ❤️ Ty!!!

I'm so happy for you Adam, getting to know and enjoy great artists, and songs! Sigrid is an absolute favorite in my book. For one more ballad i recommend her Home to You, from Lindmo talk show on NRK. For the upbeat Sigrid there are a bunch more bangers. One approch could be to go cronologial and check out her Don't Kill my Vibe. Oh, and she's a firework of energy on stage, mega popular in UK, done several gigs since this summer, I think you would enjoy to hear her live.

Hi and thank you for a nice and interesting reaction. What’s interesting is that she often makes both an upbeat and acoustic version. That tells me she is something! That tells me that if you want to know her as an artist...why not react to both in the same reaction? The winner of the UK award: "BBC's sound of 2018" in 2018 is great live. I chose to only include songs from real concert performances without any post-production so you'll really get how good she is live… The exception is the Glostonbury clip from BBC. I don't know what kind of soundproduction that's on top of her raw live feed, don't believe it's much as it would be entirely unnecessary. Anyway, here's a couple of links that appeared early in my feed: "Don't kill my vibe" live from Royal Albert Hall in Manchester 2018: kzread.info/dash/bejne/imaVqMeRXaybodI.html "Plot twist" live from Royal Albert Hall in Manchester 2018: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nWd6xLCSaKmXgbg.html "Strangers" live from Glastonbury 2019: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oXl3mNyImKvflKw.html "Don't feel like crying"live somewhere in 2019: kzread.info/dash/bejne/i6Zr1rdmqrzWc5s.html "Credit" live at Royal Albert Hall in Manchester 2018: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hWFp05Vmermqedo.html "Focus" live at Royal Albert Hall in Manchester 2018: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dWyqmtyHn9uwd6g.html "Raw" live at Royal Albert Hall in Manchester 2018: kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKV9pKxpkczVptY.html "Home to you" live from Utrecht 2019: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qap1msOhgb3eZs4.html

Surely you must've heard "Don't Kill My Vibe", her breakthrough track from 2017 that was playng nonstop in the radios across Europe in 2018? Even Elton John loved it and her and was vocal about it publically. Which is seriously cool, don't you think?

I usually see a lot of local music shows to discover new music. Without that outlet, I turned to KZread's algorithm and found Paolo. I wonder if the song you heard could have been "Strangers" ? It has kind of become a signature song if you like, is very upbeat, and has a tune that has become something of an earworm for me. As for Sucker Punch, it is also the title of Sigrid's album. I love your reaction, she is the most mainstream of the young Norwegian female artists and like the others she is even better live. I think she's got a couple of huge hits. In the UK. "Strangers (upbeat dancy tune)" and her first major hit "Don't kill my vibe."

Excellent reaction again :-) Sigrid is really good, but this song is more in her wheelhouse than "Dynamite" really. She's got a BEAUTIFUL voice, so I think it's a pity tbh. But her stage presence is really great, so have a look at her live performances. Back in 2017 she performed at the Nobel Peace Prize concert (like her friend Aurora also did, tho a different year), performing both "Dynamite" and "Strangers". I'll give you the link for the latter : kzread.info/dash/bejne/rJt2l9enoNKrkbw.html Good luck with that 30k goal. Shouldn't be a problem for you I think :-) Take care and stay safe!
