25:19 Theory is that 'One of These Nights' is a tribute to the Sewol ferry incident. Highschool students went on a trip to Jeju island but on the way back the ship they were on sunk, killing 304 people, all of them being students and only 70 students survived. The captain of the ship told the students not to move but he himself got out the ship in time and survived leaving the teenagers to drown. On the album cover, Yeri’s face is blurred because she’s the same age as the victims of the incident. If you watch the MV 'One Of These Nights', Yeri is lying down on the boat and many theories said that she ended up drowning. The first scene represents the students getting ready for the day like any other day not knowing what's about to happen that day. Joy climbing up the ladder represents the few people that survived the tragedy, seulgi looking out the window shows the students not being able to do anything/not knowing how to escape, Wendy representing those who listened to the captain and did nothing, Irene representing the students that were in shock (the sudden water flowing in the ship). The song itself isn't about the incident. The video may be about the Sewol disaster, but it could just be coincidental. Being a sad song naturally makes it seem more likely, whether it is the case or not. The members themselves don't seem to treat it that way, as there's a video where they joke about the scenes (such as Wendys 'no eyebrows' with red hair), though perhaps the director / set designer etc intended it that way. As alluded to by Catz1a the song is said to be based on Chilseok - the folk story/myth of Jiknyeo and Gyeonwu, a couple who can only see each other once a year, and which directly relates to the title and lyrics(including being across the Milky Way, 'just for a minute') Apparently it stem from China, and is also observed in Japan & Vietnam. I suppose all the water in the video could perhaps also refer to this aspect of the story = "It is said that it rains on the night of July 7th because the sad couple cry a lot when they have to bid farewell to each other." This date(7 July being 7/7) is also around when their wet season starts. Likewise the seperation between(doors, windows etc) and drifting apart(on the boat) of people in the video. Crew and teachers also died, including a teacher that could've escaped but died helping students on a lower level. Sadly the vice principal, and a recovery diver also committed suicide afterwards.

Joy is my all time bias of anything ever she’s got the personality, the VOICE, stage presence (seriously watch any collab stage she’s been in she steals the stage!) , and acting (she’s been in 2 dramas!). She’s an all rounder she’s the full package! However, my bias wrecker is Seulgi- her voice is my second favorite and she’s one of the greatest dancers of the industry! All the members are great in their own right though and all their songs are god tier. They got a good mix of all genres (even jazz!) in their discography and you can tell they’re very proud of it too. I mean, there’s a reason billboard crowned them the best idol group alive in 2018. We just need their company to acknowledge their achievements and take them seriously bc they be acting like they hate them lately 😒😒 they even trended yesterday on WOMEN DAY with “where is red velvet” bc of it

Sorry but Seulgi actually isn’t in top 5 vocal. It would be Wendy, Wheein, Solar, Yuju, Hwasa and there are some more vocalists after them, but Seulgi isn’t too far behind. She’s a standard/Average vocalist which is where some main vocalist fall, so she’s still among main vocalists

Most of the riffs and background vocals are Seulgi and sometimes Wendy when she isn’t singing the song itself. Also the high pitch scream in RBB was Irene.

How can you a favourite!! Every member brings something fresh to the group OT5💜

2 hours of Red Velvet content, wow. Watching this reminded me of how unmatched their discography, and how I strongly doubt they'll be a group like them again. And, Irene is definitely my bias, and one of my ults with Dahyun, Chaeryeong, Handong and Shuhua. She's obviously beautiful and incredibly talented, but what really drew me to her is her personality. She's extremely introverted and quiet, and is often called cold or intimidating for it, but when she feels comfortable and safe she really comes out of her shell and is in reality a ridiculously caring and selfless person. And surprisingly hilarious, I really didn't expect that. Over the past 7 years everyone that's met her has always said that she takes a long time to open up, but once she feels she can trust you, she's really warm and loyal. I just really related to her, and it's the first time I've seen an Idol like that, someone who's not afraid to be themself, and someone doesn't yield to the pressures on the industry to become overly outgoing or loud. After watching her, and how she is, I felt seen and represented, like I didn't have to be ashamed of my guarded nature. She just is who she is, despite the backlash and the judgement. And she may have made a mistake, but she took complete accountability for it without questioning, and never gave her side of the story or made excuses. She just owned up to it, and did everything she could to make amends and better herself. She's just the most genuine idol I can think of, and I admire and aspire to be like that. And Seulgi is my bias wrecker, because she's the nation's bias wrecker, but I doubt anyone will pass Irene. Okay, excessive rant over. Great video!

Woah you actually binge watched every MV! Haha. Thank you. Yes vocals vocals vocals!! Queens indeed. And you're gonna be discovering their beautiful world of b-sides. That would be a lot in a single video i think hahahaha maybe do album listens instead, maybe 2 at a time if you're not satisfied with one. 😂 - the ad lib that you loved in Rookie (was it rookie?) and Sappy, that was actually Seulgi! - for adlibs and runs, it is almost always either Wendy or Seulgi. 💙💛 - that high note in RBB is actually Irene. They all tried and they said Irene came out the most beautiful so that's what was used. She sang it while bending down haha - Uncover is Seulgi's solo yes, she first performed it on their concert and then came out as a special track in the Monster album. - i think it's a common thing in the fandom to be bias wrecked by every one of these five beautiful, talented ladies, so no worries. Haha.
