Red Wings fan here; the third jersey was absolutely fantastic. I really thought that there wasn’t a single jersey that I didn’t like, but man oh MAN Neil you gotta give Hockeytown some love!!!! Great job, Ash!

Fun Fact: When I used to live in Seattle, my spring hockey team used the same exact 3rd jersey with the white off too. One of my favorite jerseys I’ve ever worn!

Personally, I blame the fact that the league gave the jersey contract to a company which - and I have said this before, back me up on this Neil - IS NOT A HOCKEY COMPANY. As a result, it's the fans that are doing the best work- and all fair due respect to them.

I love how the LA and the Crown switched to make it more logo focus and less text focused

So as a wings fan that third jersey is perfect. It has a mix of the jersey from the 2009 and 2014 winter classics. Amazing job Ash.

Wings fan here, I would absolutely love an alternate Jersey like that. You really can’t touch the home and away but a third Jersey is where you spice things up a bit and that is just the perfect amount

One subtle detail about the st. Louis Blues 3rd jersey which you didn’t mention but that I really like is the 5 stripes on the bottom and sleeves, representing the 5 lines of sheet music; absolutely brilliant!

The LA set is amazing. Just the right choices on everything, it ties so many elements from different eras while being somewhat new and modern, I LOVE IT! (Kings fan btw)

I like the way how Ash designed Buffalo’s 3rd jersey it’s badass and I love the colors

I’m not a Caps fan but I love the new alternate with the ‘W’. It’s very simple which ironically is what people probably hate about it.

That Tampa away jersey is insane 🤯

I want to see a Vancouver vs Seattle with those thirds.

As a Wings fan, most concepts I see on these videos disappoint me. These didn’t! Though they’re not home runs either. I’d like to see some concepts that go back to some earlier iterations of the logo, whether it’s inverted colors or playing with the wheel to wing size ratio, or both! Ps. These are the best all around concepts I’ve seen. Great job!

I love how the Vegas third corresponds with the Silver Knights and even the Raiders. I also love the shoulder patch on the third. Amazing 🔥

All 32 sets are amazing!! Neil is right that little adjustments to a jersey make a big difference. My top 10 sets: 1. Florida 2. Buffalo 3. Vancouver 4. NY Rangers 5. Columbus 6. Minnesota 7. Calgary 8. Tampa Bay 9. Pittsburgh 10. Anaheim

This is honestly the BEST concept set that I have personally seen. I'm fairly traditional when it comes to jerseys. With that said, as a Canucks fan... I do not accept anything that is not the Flying Skate. I have never accepted the Orca as to me, it represents former owners Orca Bay and a dark time in the franchise. I would like to see the 94-95 jerseys back and an alternate could be the Flying Skate in current colours. Fantastic job, Ash.

I hear ya. Vancouver has an awesome set of jerseys right now, and it was really hard not including a Flying Skate with these concepts. Two reasons why I didn't... 1) I felt like there were too many black jerseys already, and 2) I really wanted to do a Millionaires concept to pair with the Metropolitans concept and recreate that old PCHA rivalry with Seattle.

As a kings fan I like how the alternate is both the Stanley Cup eras jersey mixed. The logo on the home and away is cool but those need yellow. They need purple and yellow. Either that or a modern take on the 2000’s uniforms. Imagine a retro purple jersey with the old crown and it says Los Angeles at the waist.

Seattle fan here. When i first saw it, i completely agreed with you. However, the more i look at it i think it's pretty cool. You have the S, and then the tentacle inside with the red eye..I don't know, i like it

Absolutely great concepts from Ash. My choices are the Anaheim third, the Buffalo third, the entire Chicago set (just for the logo redesign), the Dallas third (complete leftfield wildcard if there ever was one), the New Jersey third, the Rangers third (looks a bit like what SKA St Petersburg are rocking right now), the Pittsburgh third (not just for the RoboPenguin but also for using the correct sky blue which pleases this Coventrian), and the Seattle set (especially the Metropolitans tribute third, even though they essentially look like the Leicester Tigers).

Red Wings fan here. I wish the Wings would go with the Stadium Series look as their Home and Away!

Going all 3rds on my list of favourites. They being... *1. Canes* *2. Devils* *3. B’s* *4. Av’s* *5. Jackets*

Wish they’d be ballsy enough to do ANYTHING tbh. I understand we have one of the most classic and strong uniforms of all time (TOTALLY not biased lmao) but that’s what third jerseys are for, to have fun

I love the idea of fixing the adidas collars. Also love the idea of presenting sets. I like this guy. Edit: heck yes, fixed the collar on the white Flyers jersey. The current collar on the white adidas is a mess.

Thanks for the kind words! I used light colors on the Vancouver 3rd precisely so it could be worn against Seattle's third. 100 year old PCHA rivalry reborn!

I think the Leafs nead a shoulder patch (leaf without anything written inside of it), the old 3 stripe socks, home collar is fully white, away collar is fully blue.

Ash you did a fantastic job with these. Great job!

22:40 The glaring thing you didn't mention is that making the leaf green aswell as different from the original logo is that it definitely seems to be a Marijuana reference especially considering it's a Canadian team..even if it wasn't intentional it would become the weed jersey or the stoner jersey or something like that

The Nashville concepts are a miss for me, except for the Third! That one is awesome. Really great work here doing 3!!!! jerseys per team. I know this took a lot of work.

As a Red Wings fan I do like the third. It’s pretty much a mix of the last two Winter Classic (2014 & 2009) jerseys I believe. I think it’s a good jersey, but I don’t feel that logo works with the cream/off-white color too well

I have enjoyed all your previous videos. I have to say this was THE BEST. Not related to Ash, but he is THE BEST. I would like to see Montreal take the 3rd jersey and make it their regular away jersey (don't like the red shoulders -> bland).

Oh detroit. The third is great. Im fine with every decision he made with logos and striping. My only thing would be instead of the cream color, stick with white. That's all I got 🤣

Very nice work here! The Wild home patch with the laces was red, but green is ok. I can't stand the Hurricanes or Lightning original logos, and not a big fan of the Sens, but that does not take away from this lineup. I would like to see someone design completely new logos for all teams.

Completely new designs are always fun, but that wasn't the goal with these concepts. These were meant as (mostly) subtle tweaks, and some logos are already damn near perfect.

Carolina and New Jersey are my favorites.

The rights of the logo used for the Blackhawks jersey belong to a junior team in Europe. Although it has been suggested or even rumored that the Hawks might change their logo, they (and the local indigenous people) have defended it recently and actually embraced their native communities as a part of their brand even more since this season. They likely won't change their logo anytime soon and they certainly won't change it to the logo used in these concepts.

I came across the logo in an article about Ojibway artist Mike Ivall, who tried to design a culturally appropriate version of the Blackhawks logo (I tried to link it here, but YT removed it). The Hawks logo has 100 years of equity built into it, which is impossible to achieve any other way. However, I think time can also erode that equity, and it's starting to feel like that moment is approaching for the Hawks, despite its current support. This concept was an attempt to get ahead of that moment. I don't know about a junior team in Europe, but there is a AAA team in Ottawa that uses this logo, the Maplesoft Hawks.

As a Pens fan I really want the Robo penguin to come back. However, I do believe the owners (I.E Mario) have said that the blue jerseys will never come back do to the fact that too many players have gotten serious injuries while wearing. I don't think we will ever see a blue Pens jersey again.

As a red wings fan I love that concept

The blue jackets concert is pretty good except it is clashing because it has an in list of rain with Officer epaulets and there are no invested rains that have gold rank insignia

Yeah, there's a good chance I messed that up. I was trying to decipher the grainy photos and drawings of old Union Army uniforms, and ended up spending way too much time on this jersey lol. I'm not real happy with how it turned out, so something to improve if I ever do a v2.0 of these concepts.

You could have made a top 32 cause they were so well done 👍

As a St. Louis Blues fan, I love the new lineup of jerseys. That 3rd is a modern update of the 90's jersey, one I wouldn't mind putting on. I don't care for the clown jersey as they are known by the fanbase.

Curious to know (i dont have sports templates dot com) but do they have pro wrestling championship belt templates? I think itd be cool if i did one of those for the 32 teams plus the NHL logo itself and the conference logos and the division logos (both the normal ones and the temporary covid ones)

Love the hat. My daughter played on an all girls team in a boy's league called "Twisted Sisters" Many of the girls ended up playing in college. ( My daughter did not)
