yeah my friend speaks french and i sent him this, he texted back after watching saying “oh my god they’re gonna kill the child you should send help if u don’t i will”

I have bad memories with furbies because one time when I was younger I lived in this house that my family and I called the orange house cause it was a house that was orange haha were so good at naming things lol and one Christmas I asked for a furbie and I got one and it wouldn’t stop talking so I said “shut up” and the furbie replied “no you shut up” so my brother said “your furbies stupid” it kept saying he was stupid and then it kept saying I’m a boy I’m a girl im a boy I’m a girl so my siblings and I being the dumb kids that we were instead of turning it off or taking out the battery we chucked it at the back of my sister and my closet and legend has it the furbie is still there to this day If you read the whole thing thanks you deserve a cookie 🍪 here you go

I have bad Furby memories because I was like 20 and working at a toy store when they came out. Sept. or Oct. we got one shipment of maybe 20 or 30 of them and we had to sell them super hard to people because nobody'd heard of them yet. Finally sold them all. Then come Nov./Dec. Furby was THE hot toy for the holidays (ok along with Beanie Babies and those tricked out yo-yos) but we never got another shipment in. Customers would accuse us of lying and hoarding them for ourselves. *shudder*

I’m 11 and I remember having a furby. My mom was terrified of it 😂

Now I know where the accent came from whenever you say "Beynnn" 😂😂

I speak French and English, so I knew what they were saying in that commercial, and "tonight we kill the child" literally made me cry I was laughing so hard

As a Canadian kid in the 90s, YTV was THE television station of choice for me and all my friends. I even got to meet PJ Paul and PJ Phil when I went on a game show called Clips. I definitely remember that Fib Finder commercial, but I'm pretty sure I was in my late teens by then.

😂😂 Oh god! I remember watching these commercials as a kid! 😂😂😂 Commercials growing up made me want ALL OF THE THINGS! I would then be incredibly annoyed that the kids in the commercials were having so much fun over such shitty products (for the products I was actually gifted by family for bdays and holidays). Lol!

Okay, the French bit was absolutely hilarious and my brain was having SUCH a hard time because the subtitles were so far off from what was actually being said. Also, your acting as a kid was actually pretty good and you should be proud of it. Ngl, I used to be SUPER envious of all the kids with the butterfly clips. My hair was too thick and curly to use them. They'd just get lost in my tangles and eventually fall out.
