I really liked this video, and I think it was an awesome idea to go back and see what old Hera was playing like. It gives perspective to how you’ve changed as a player, and like you said, the commentary actually wasn’t bad at all. I’m not sure how popular this video or more of this video would/will be, but I enjoyed it a lot nonetheless 😁

This video was great. I would love a historian Hera series. It would be pretty great to also review some older games from other players (with their permission) or have a community series of this. I really feel that the AoE2 we see now is the highest level it has ever been, and it is nice to see this belief examined.

Man, this takes me back. Cumans domination on ladder, Hera streaming to 200 people because this was before NAC3, the curtains, the WASD click sounds…. Good to know some stuff never changes like the pathfinding, which is still as broken as it was at launch

i remember watching you in the beginning of de and thinking that everybody else messes around while you grind like crazy on stream. i am convinced that this period helped you immense to catch up. now that you have focused more on the entertainment side of things as you deserve to keep the fun the gap is closing a bit.

Old Hera is like current MBL. Crazy aggressive and all in 😂

I do remember this old Hera: more risky approach, relying on superb speed and amazing micro but definitely the present Hera are much more reliable and smart playing (strategy and decision making). This playstyle made you wonder games but the new mentality and knowledge of the game made you won tourneys. Very fun to watch 🙌
