The Can You Stand The Rain video was the first video i watched of any HBCU majorette team and yall had me hooked since then and made me want to be on one of those teams one day

LOVEEEEE this concept y’all...this is literally genius omg i’m screaming💀 ‘14 was that class and that yearrrr honey. ‘14 as a whole doesn’t even get the credit y’all are due tbh...each individually. y’all deserved sooo much more. would love to see a Q&A or a story time with all of y’all together. really hope y’all keep these going...definitely gotta give us some moments from ‘16 of Brendon by himself + when y’all lead together❤️

She's talking about the drum line being shocked by their uniforms at halftime but didn't the band march in behind the dolls? I know the drum line always marches in the back so halftime was the first time they were seeing the dolls? That story is too funny though. The feathers are a little short but I hope they bring them back again.

Amita Patel Sometimes they change their uniforms right before the field show. You can tell in the infamous Gyalchester video. They marched in with the Blue swimsuit, but ended with the White fringe.

It's never too late. Schools have resources for non traditional students. A lot of HBCUs have fully online programs if you want to take that route.

Odion Mowoe you’re right and I want to get the full experience and I think I will go to one after I graduate from where I am going to know since it’s not a 4 year college

I remember the first time The Jukebox played Nobody Does It Better! I was in high school and I figured out how to make it my ringtone on my iPhone lol

Nik Key Back then, I had to do the KZread to mp3 thing and download the song to my iTunes on the computer for it to save on my phone as a song. Then, I chose it as a ringtone. I used to make full band “albums” on my phone 😂 “Best of the Southern University Human Jukebox Vol. 1” 😂😂😂
