Wow haven't heard Krypteria is a long time. Cool bit of nostalgia happening right now. Also "shoutout the guy from disturbed for playing drums" lmao!
Happy birthday, Lupy!!! Also, if you want to check out more of these guys, "All Systems Go", and "Scream" from the same album are real bangers!
Krypteria formed a new group called: And Then She Came
Thank you very much
"Shout out to the guy from uh- Disturbed for playing drums here." You mean the great David Draiman??? Thanks for calling out the lie. I hate you. NOT. That's the best explanation of palm muting ever existed. Your ability superceded Wikipedia at this point.

You don't hate me 😂😂😂 And yay for being better than wiki! 😂😂😂
My favorite Krypteria song is Sweet Revenge! Did you happen to check it out? I like it because of the choirs and the super catchy chorus! It's also really melodic.
Nice, straight-ahead 4/4 rock. To add my vote, I like the key changes. But to me it's Ji-In who makes the whole thing. She has a little bit of a Pat Benatar overtone.
WOAH it's been years since I heard Krypteria, I really like their sound
Happy birthday Lupy, hope you're having a stellar day 🥳️🎂🎁

FYI Krypteria doesn’t exist anymore. In 2012 the singer got pregnant and they decided to have a break. During the break they formed a new band called „And Then She Came“. It is the same band but with a complete different style which they call „modern rock“.
Going back in the archives for this one. I love some Krypteria when I feel like some straight ahead tunes that are insanely catchy. Their song "Victoria" is probably my favorite song with a Latin chorus. :)
I used to listen to this band, I did like them very much.
Great band that took some time off after the singer Ji-In Cho had a baby. They came back with a new guitarist and new name, And Then She Came. 2 albums with the new name and working on a 3rd. The drummer, S.C. Kuschnerus, is one of my favorite drummers to watch play. I absolutely love his style.
And the comedy is the straight face.....And pause...... When explaining palm muting....... jigjigjigjig....... Love it!!!
Happy B day Lupy!!. What a memories from the time when i spent it listen to Krypteria. The night when angels cry, the promise, all systems go.... i miss them.

Great band to react too. Love it. 😁
After years of being a fan of this band I finally actually got a copy of their Bloodangel's Cry album recently. They were really good, and had a little bit of a musical theater element to them. In terms of gothic metal, this is probably their most gothic metal song, very mid-2000s approach to the genre, but that's what the sound was at the time.
wooooow this took me back to my teen years. i remember listening to this album nonstop on vacation on mallorca. crazy how you can tie songs to such specific memories! loved your reaction as always and i hope to see more! :) i love "out of tears" or "at the gates of retribution" from the same album.
Happy Birthday, Lupy!

How great would it have been if this turned out to just be a cover of Smallville's theme song?
I met Ji-In last year as she was part of the cast for „Der Fluch des Drachen“ the probably first and only Fantastical based on a novel ny Markus Heitz and brought to stage by Corvus Corax. She performed awesome there.
Happy birthday, @Lupy!

Happy Birthday, Sylvia! I do believe I detected a hint of Garth Brooks' "The Dance" influencing the keys there. First time hearing Krypteria and I really enjoyed it!
Ji-In Cho is a Korean/ German vocalist. They since change their name to And Then She Came. Liberatio is Krypteria's best song imo, but this is still a good performance.
Happy birthday, Lupy! Hope this reaction is part of a fully fantastic day for you. :)
Need to check more of this band 😁🤘 Happy birthday Lupy 🌹🥳
Nice one! 🤘 Can we get some more Unleash the Archers? :)
TU4C and Happy Birthday to Blupy (Bloopy? BlueP? Blupay?)! I dig Krypteria, not as a diehard fan, but I always enjoy them when they pop into my internet stream. "All Systems Go" is FIRE, complete with a fairly esoteric reference to American football in the chorus, which I always thought was hilarious considering they're a German band. YAS, a "parr muting" reference, and a damned funny one at that.

All systems go is epic! Also, The Promise sounds really good!
Happy birthday Lucy, almost shared birthday with you. Cool to see a reaction to Krypteria. The only song I had heard before was For you I will bring the devil down.
Krypteria. How nice. Hope we'll see more of them.
Happy birthday! And thank you as well for turning me on to a band that I've never heard before. Your birthday, and you gave me a present; so selfless. Music is absolutely the best gift one can give. Much love to you all.

Oh wow now I feel really old, Krypteria! I remember seeing them live in 2009 and I was instantly hooked! My favourite song: My Fatal Kiss.
I haven't seen any reactions to the band Cilver. All of their song's are good, but "I'm America" has a really emotional mv, you also have "In My Head"

FINALLY!!!
When I read "Krypteria" I get sudden urge to listen to "Sweet Revenge".
If you are going to do Krypteria you should really do Sweet revenge, its an awesome song.
This is one of my favorite songs that helped me get into symphonic metal as a genre. You might also like a band called Gregorian that covers modern songs in a sort of Gregorian chant style. I'm not describing it well, but they've covered songs like "Nothing else matters", "Viva la vida", and "Bring me to life".
Uwu! This brings back memories of my undergraduate days! 😜
Totally forgot about Krypteria. It's been years since I listened to them. Their last album was like 2012. If you want to hear them gothic you should check out "The Eye Collector". kzread.info/dash/bejne/c5Wq09FwibDbiaw.html
How did they get you to react to this! I miss Krypteria so soooo much =c Happy birthday Sylvia!
Aaaah great to see you react to Krypteria!!! ♥ Other awesome songs by them worth checking out: Get The Hell Out Of My Way Liberatio Victoriam Speramus The Night All Angels Cry You & I When The Dust Begins To Settle
Hey man, I love your work, and I'd love to hear what you think of Destrage, from Milan, as well as Between the Buried and Me. Also I think it'd be really interesting to see you react to some of your favorite bands (ETID, Protest the Hero, etc) and break down and explain what makes those songs favorites of yours.
Nice voice and singalong vibe. I'll check out more from them, maybe see them live considering they are local (once this is over). Also just seem to have a lot of fun, all of them, which is really nice.

And of course you can tell its gothic from a freezeframe ... only genre where lingerie is perfectly acceptable stagewear :'D
Hi Chase. Glad I've found this channel, your reactions are something different to what others do, cause you take it from the musician's perspective so you always hear what's really going on in a song and can describe it. And your emotions are often so hilarious😁 Pls try an Australian progressive melodic death band Be'lakor - An Ember's Arc or Roots To Sever lyric videos. This should be smth new for you and your channel, and there's definitely much going on there to pause, rewind and analyse. Cheers!
I was just listening to Steam Powered Giraffe and think you'd get a kick out of them. Probably make a fantastic reaction video.

steam powered giraffe is hella fun to listen to
If you look at doing more Krypteria they went on hiatus and changed their name to And Then She Came when they came out fyi.
I have a proposition of prog metal which is not simple neither flashy or technical: Green Carnation with "My Dark Reflections of Life and Death" (LIVE at Caledonien Hall)
Oceans Ate Alaska dropped a new single called Metamorph. I can only recommend giving it a listen :)
Would love to see you check out Abandoned by Unprocessed!
Happy b-day Loopie Regarding the soong, as I wrote on Tanks channel.... the sound quality is to bad.... so it might be better with better sound mixing but it was to generic for me to check out if I would have liked it better with better sound.
Not gonna lie; I think Chase went a bit too soft on this, unless there's more qualities to it than the ones he explained. On the other hand, we've been spoiled with Nightwish for quite some time now, so I guess that anything "too ordinary" falls a bit short. 😂 The studio/official video versions didn't really do much for me either, but luckily there seems to be at least some gems among the songs I skimmed through after watching this. In fact, most songs on the same album (Bloodangel's Cry) seemed really decent, with this one being one of the weakest (in my own opinion). Will give them another try. Thanks Lupy, and Happy birthday!
Happy birthday, Lupy! As for the band/song/performance, not bad but didn't really grab me tbh...maybe just not to my taste? Great reaction as per usual though!
I am hoping for a return to Japan for some more all female rock/metal bands. More Band-Maid is always good. Bridear - Ignite Nemophila - Raitei Aldious - Die For You Any of these would guarantee me a damn good day and hopefully be great new music for everyone.
Never gonna get high quality live sound recording...wait have you ever heard of Nightwish 's live stuff...oh! That's why I came here in the first place...
Not hatin' it. She has a good voice. Bass is a bit upfront compared with the guitars. Bangin' chorus. 🔥🤘♥️
man you need to hear Aeon by Defamed, it's going to blow your mind
Not bad, as some other have mentioned and I agree with. A bit to generic for my taste, also felt like there was places in the song that required more instrumentation or a fuller sound.
Something you might like to check out is a Rock Band from Monterrey MX - The Warning (Now signed with Lava Records) This impressive trio of sisters - Daniela 20 (guitar, piano and vocals), Paulina 18 (drums, piano and vocals), and Alejandra 15 (bass, piano and vocals), have elaborate musical affinities. They have participated in some of the most important rock festivals in Mexico such as Vive Latino, Hell & Heaven, Mother of All, Pal Norte, Force Fest and Rock al Parque in Colombia. They have also opened for Def Leopard (2 nights) & The Killers (2 nights) It is almost impossible to recommend just one song, So here is a link to their YT playlist page kzread.infoplaylists Their albums XXI Century Blood (2017) & Queen of the Murder Scene (Rock Novel) (2018) are simply incredible considering the age they were when they wrote them Here are some definite listens from their live Queen Of The Murder Scene concert Dust to Dust kzread.info/dash/bejne/hpl9xKlxns61mbg.html Ugh kzread.info/dash/bejne/k3yJ3JudgpbNp8o.html Dull Knives kzread.info/dash/bejne/gqhhzLCQYcaXhJM.html Red Hands Never Fade kzread.info/dash/bejne/pWWMlaSxqLi1cs4.html QOTMS kzread.info/dash/bejne/gXyCko-aotvZqJc.html Check them out. AHEM. Did someone say Avatar?
Nice enough track, but the key changes in the choruses seemed overdone to me and just jarred me out of the moment... not a massive fan of that... liked the simplicity of the song - you nailed that 👊💀
Nice crowd but this band didn't sound good enough to draw that many people.
@gequetscht1031
3 жыл бұрын
well thats wacken for you ... everything there has a good crowd, but I have to admit, my fav song is from Kryteria - Liberatio ... dunno why I just loved it ever since I first heard it over 10 (?) years ago
I like the piano melody and the chorus vocal melody is not bad, but i don't like this song as a whole. It's awkwardly generic for me. Not hating - I just didn't enjoy listening to this song, it didn't grab me.
@crabuki1273

They've never seemed very adventurous to me, but always extremely competent. The songs I've heard (I'm FAR from an expert on this band but I'm waffling on anyway) always have at least one or two "interesting choices" that I either really like or am at least entertained by. (For example, the mini-key change in this one that lasts about 4 bars each time.) At any rate, I really like this song of theirs, so I figured I'd make it easy for you to try something else of theirs. "All Systems Go" - kzread.info/dash/bejne/gpyAybevZta6dqw.html
Just watched them on Tanks channel . Sorry but they are really not that good. Just going to leave it at that.
Really boring song... but that's just me.
