BTS’s performance at mma 2018 really reflected their Korean culture and pride. I’m not sure if you noticed their outfits but basically they’re modernized versions of Korean hanboks. There was so many aspects of their culture in their Idol performance. The member jimin also received an award for his fan dance.

I went to the StrayKids Maniac concert in Atlanta in March and I have to say it was the best concert I've ever been to. They are absolutely incredible live! If you ever get a chance, you HAVE to go.

@@lynlyn1593 I was at day 2 as well! I was in the nosebleed section (3rd floor, center section, left side facing the stage). I bought my tickets the day of the concert bcuz I'd been debating on going for the longest but tickets were so expensive due to scalpers price gouging them. So at the last minute I said screw it and bought them bcuz I knew I'd regret it forever if I didn't go. I wish I could've been closer but it was still such a great concert, it didn't even matter how far away I was lol.

BTS at MMA 2019 is one of the best award show performances not just in kpop but of any music artist. BTS had a 37 minute performance at an award show and it took 3 months to prepare. You should definitely check it out at some point.

Oddinary is the name for the mini album which venom and maniac are from. The full album has 7 songs, I definitely recommend giving it a listen. There are 4 songs with an mv and 3 without The word 'Oddinary' is wordplay with odd and ordinary (skz do this a lot with album names) meaning everyone has their own odd inside of them and that odd will become the new ordinary. Stray Kids performance was at MAMA, MAMA is an end-year award show (last days of november) where idols go to perform and /of course/ receive awards. Just so you know, end-year shows are BIG in the kpop industry not only because they're ending the year getting rewarded with trophies for their hard work but also because the artists get exposure to tons of different fandoms other than their own so they always give a mind-blowing stage, and that's why idols always go creative with their performances there. I've gone to a couple of Stray Kids concerts and their energy is INSANE, just like in that MAMA performance. My favourite SKZ stages are always on end-year award shows, like for example their *MAMA 2020* performance of "Victory Song", another *MAMA 2021* performance of "Thunderous" and "Cheese", and my personal favourite: a performance on another end-year show called *Gayo Daejeon in 2021* where they performed "Thunderous" (this end-year show is always on Christmas so the performance is Christmas themed). The art and the performance BTS has is just unbeatable that is for sure there are like many good and powerful performances but till now I haven't seen a group which has the performance and the artistry like BTS have ...😌💜it gives u an artist and a king vibe❤if it makes sense 😌✨✨

This 2018 idol performance of BTS was selected as the best performance in MAMA's history and they were awarded later especially jimin. In this performance BTS used conventional Korean instruments during idol part and this performance blew up inside and outside of Korea.bcz of that, with the increased demand and interest, national Gugak centre's Gugak digital service( provides sounds of traditional Korean musical instruments) was able to expand their service by introducing the sounds of 50 more instruments, which are lesser known by people. The main difference between BTS and other groups are BTS sing 100% live while other grps depend heavily on backtrack and just lip synchs except for few lines.

Fun fact in 2019 the mama awards banned light sticks after BTS turned the show into a BTS concert. It was indeed a purple ocean. 💜💜💜💜💜

Yep! Because they write and produce their own music, they are able to re-arrange all of their songs for their live performances as necessary to accommodate stage and time restrictions, in addition to making each performance unique. Bang Chan, especially, works his BUTT off to always make sure their songs are spot on and ready to go.

BTW, when you watch that early "Victory Song" video, you might notice there are 9 members. Woojin left the group in 2019, and there have been 8 members ever since. Any performances / videos you see with 9 members are from before he left. So you won't see Woojin in the 2020 MAMA awards live version.

the Stray Kids performance you watched was at an _awards show._ that big of an audience, that intense of a performance, and it wasn’t even a festival or concert. MAMA (MNET Asian Music Awards) goes HARD! I’ve seen Stray Kids live in LA and they were PHENOMENAL. Incredible stamina, energy, charisma, you could tell they absolutely love performing. And then Bang Chan (the leader) did a livestream at 1am after the concert even tho it ended at 11pm and he was so hyper, like buddy!!! Get some sleep oh my word!!!

Stray Kids performance in award shows and their concert goes sooooo hard! I went to the Maniac concert and it was soooo amazing! Their intro alone was already a show! You’ll never go wrong with Stray Kids. The always have a unique production.

Your face watching Stray Kids was me when I first saw their live performances. They really take performance to another level and make the most of every stage. They also remix their own music so you get a new version for each award show or tour. I love it so much. Kpop really is incredible for performances, these groups are performance groups, not just music.

Stray kids is crazyyyyy!!!! They all can do everything....Every single member can sing, rap and dance and their stage performances are just another WOW factor about them. They bring out new concepts through their songs and performances which most of the groups doesn't. ODDINARY is actually an album of SKZ through which they said that "Being ODD is completely Normal". Every single SKZ album have a story line which are interconnected with all the other albums. SKZ always bring out different genre of music which is not like the traditional KPOP but STAYS (fandom) love their experiments. The song GOD'S MENU itself says about how good they are through each and every lyrics and if you observe the MV you can see them shooting in a kitchen, a lab kinda space and a racing track. So basically its like they experiment their music in a lab, then prepare it in a kitchen and compete the songs in a race. And there is lyric "From start its been all ours" which is like they've been winning through out the race. Back to ODDINARY, in their trailer for the album Hyunjin and Felix had a seen where Hyunjin pushed Felix from a building and then the next shot was that he turned into one of them (you probably wouldn't understand what I am telling, you just have to watch the trailer) and this performance is interconnected with their trailer as you saw Hyunjin took Felix into the lab and made him a Maniac. So yaa.....I just want to tell you guys you can't imagine what type of concept they will be bringing next time. I just want you to do more SKZ. All songs you checked out are hype songs of SKZ and they have another side with soft songs too. You guys can check them out. And hope you'll do a long guide to SKZ (I recommend you to check an updated one made by teanosuga). I am loving your honest opinions and hoping to see more SKZ reactions😍

These kind of performances are only done at award shows because theyre insanely hard and reeally expensive so the only way to see something this big live is to go to the award shows. But stray Kids concerts are INSANE their performances are always top tier, thee use awesome props, and their energy is unmatched! Even non-fans that attend come back from the concert as the biggest fans. They never skimp on performances

I am not even a kpop fan but Stray Kids are really something else. This specific Stray Kids performance turned me into a stay, like wtf I was so shooked because of the production, the coreography, their stage presence, their outfits, their looks, everything... I was totally captivated even tho I just listen to metal and alternative music, lol.

Happy to report that after watching Stray Kids in concert last March, their live performances really live up to the hype. Love their adlibs and random shoutings when they perform. ❤

BTS since their debut have been known for their live vocals and also, breathtaking performances, this video is from 2018, back then they caused a huge full house as well as in 2016,2017 because only they performed with such spectacularity, but in 2019 they outdid themselves and literally everyone was screaming about it, in 2020, 2021 there was a quarantine so everyone performed beforehand without an audience, but BTS even then proved the reason for their uniqueness and exclusivity. You may not know, but BTS were the first to perform with a huge number of dancers at such events and make a SHOW, a SHOW, and after them came others, they made and still make a huge contribution to the history of not only Korea and Korean music, but also to the global music industry, no matter how, only because of them music awards began to change their ways, and Western shows invited other Korean performers. And what is very important is that these current performers are very grateful to them and have expressed their admiration for them many times, which is very commendable, they are not drowned in some kind of envy, it makes them good people.

Stray kids are amazing performers and their concerts are also amazing and you should definetely go see them live, but keep in mind that this is an end of the year performance on one of the biggest award shows in asia. They go all crazy, till almost some members passing out, so just dont expect this kind of production value in their concerts, because its not even possible to perform with this kind of energy for that long. And this goes for all other kpop artists as well. Everyone goes all out on these type of award shows.

I went to stray kids concert in Singapore and it was the best day of my life! They literally poured out everything they could to make us happy. I actually saw them getting tired while performing (they danced for 3 hours straight) but they still went hard on the choreo and running around the stage interacting, laughing and smiling to us. I got so emotional. They love us as much as we do. I can’t count how many times I said “I love Stray Kids so much” in my mind during the whole concert 😭 They just make me so happy ❤

Oddinary is the name of Stray Kids album which comprises of many songs, two of them being Venom and Maniac. All the live performances SKZ has ever done are MAJESTIC in one word. Still not over the way that MAMA made all the idols stay out in the cold (2 degrees C temp!) bc they didn't have enough room in the venue as they were given to all the actors and they _still_ made the idols go back and forth to get an award. Made you almost wish your favs didn't win anything. Ik they cited covid as a reason but that doesn't explain the actors getting standard/regular treatment, along with their staff, or making non-winners come at all.

This is something that probably doesn’t need to be mentioned but I’m gonna mention it anyways, at the end of Stray kids mama performance they were so tired that Jeongin aka I.N collapsed most of them also collapsed to the floor after the performance but they were all helping each other to get up, bang chan aka their leader saw that I.N was so tired and he was about to fall down so he did catch jeongin in time but I.N still did fall to the floor again after he was brought up, give applause to stray kids they put their everything into that performance props to them for doing all of this. Stray kids take a rest please🫶🏻

I saw the Stray Kids on their Maniac Tour in Melbourne in February. They are awesome live. The performance you saw was at the 2022 MAMA'S ( meeting music awards), it was held in Japan.

I've been to many many concerts in my life and Stray Kids was by far the most epic and exhilarating!! They are incredible performers.

UGHHHHH the camera crews at those awards shows drive me INSANE. They miss key moments in performances, they miss key special effects, they zoom in and out at random......ARRRGGHHH. I remember a live performance by J-Hope where one of the camera people screwed up and all viewers could see for several seconds was the back wall. Nothing else. Just the back wall. It was infuriating. The other thing that drives me crazy about those awards shows is their microphones are constantly on the fritz. I have seen SO many performances at those shows where the members who are not singing or rapping at the moment have to give their mics to the members who ARE supposed to be singing / rapping, or instead, they just have to sing or rap in their place. I know for a fact this has happened a number of times for the Stray Kids. I can't even imagine how frustrated they get.

@@JAMoore-zz3ki OMGG fr the camera work is so annoying. like in this specific skz performance it kept panning out and showing the spider thing and the crowd instead of the boys performing. like seriously? and we couldn't even see the dance break of venom cause of the camera work and zoom outs.

​@JAMoore-zz3ki I swear they do it to every single group. I don't know where they find these camera people and directors but it's ridiculous. BTS (well, Bang PD) even slapped back at them during their early years and redid a performance with their own cameraman to show the awards shows three different ways they could have shot the performance and it still would've been good (the original camerawork was a joke). Even in JHope's latest performance at MAMA, the camera person screwed up. You'd think they'd find better ways of filming everyone's live performances by now. 🤡

2016, 2017 and 2018....BTS set the standard for stage performances. If you wanted to compete and you were in another group you had to step up your game. There is a video by BoraCity Magazine channel that talks about BTS making certain trends popular as well as some that they actually started.

Stray Kids' performance was from MAMA 2022 (very important Korean Award Show). So it's a special stage. There are so many dancers. Their concerts are different from that performance, because you can't do that for whole 1,5 hours. They are usually 8 of them for concerts (not with dancers). Even I couldn't attend Skz concert, I've watched so many clips from their concerts. They are really crazy performancers and their small talks on concerts are enjoyable. I just want to clarify for you that you've watched Coachella and Award Show performances and they're different from concerts because they need much production. Love your Skz reactions btw❣
