Darna is a famous Filipino super hero similar to wonder woman. When she is a normal person her name is Narda and when she swallow a magical stone and shouted "DARNA" she will transform to Darna. She has a younger brother named DING.

These are the songs that everyone I mean everyone knows. Even if you don’t know the lyrics you can’t help but mumble and sing along. “Narda” is the real name of the original Filipino comic super heroine “Darna”. The creation of Darna soothes the Filipino audience and served as an inspiration to the Philippines when it was struggling from the after effects of World War 2. Darna is an icon of Truth, Justice and Filipino culture. “Ding” is Darna/ Narda’s sidekick in a way since they work and live together even when Darna is not in superhero mode. Btw, Waleska never disappoints. I really dig her style. She looks stunning as always💚

Narda is actually “Darna” written backwards. Darna is like our Wonder Woman here in the Philippines back in the day.

Jay Contreras could easily be a successful comedian here in the Philippines. He’s one of the most loved vocalist here because of his personality. Everyone can relate to him and their shows are really entertaining.

I remember when we joined the battle of the bands, Kamikazee was there and they played Narda for the first time and we went crazy and inspired by their music. And that same night, we placed 3rd in our 1st ever battle. 🤘

The original version is good but my fave version of this song was Janine Berdin's. Just found myself bawling my eyes out after her performance. I'm not even broken hearted or something when I watched it. That performance also made Ogie Alcasid tear up. So yeah, it's my fave version.
