HAEGEUM is the 2nd part of Suga or Agust D's trilogy songs. The first part of trilogy DAECHWITA which im hoping for you to react later was released in 2020 Suga built a storyline in the first part and released HAEGEUM just last year as kind of a sequel then followed AMYGDALA both Haegeum & Amygdala released also last year part of his D-DAY album as the AMYGDALA is the conclusion ( where in this song you'll find the origin of his scar & its more of autobiographical since it's Suga's life story) 3rd and the last part of his trilogy . When you watch suga's solo project almost everything in it has symbolism, he is very deep and known for his raw music among all the the members. His music might be a littlbe bit dark than the others but he is very straightforward, raw, very honest of what he say and express his feelings but laying and state the facts. And you got it right when you said " this type of song humanized the artist and he definitely know who he is and he isnt afraid of himself." Yes , that's very Suga. He defintely not and you'll find out more that makes you say " im really right of my first impression of him" when you discover more of his music after you done watching all his trilogy songs because he got more beautiful music unmasking himself that also very relatable to others. Thats one thing that Even all the members are multitalented and unique in their own way but to me Suga sticking out the most because he is not afraid of showing and unmasking of what kind of person he is ( THE LAST, SHADOW, AGUST D ,FIRST LOVE) not afraid of his reputation as an idol and as a superstar but many of his musics he is unmasking himself and also addressing his views about mental health ,people, society, social, political ,greed, relationship which later you'll find out he is not just a normal or an ordinary artist but beyond and very extra- ordinary. Suga is not only just a rapper but among tge members of BTS he is tge main producer and not hust a producer but a brilliant and genius musician, songwriter, composer, very good lyricist, making his own beats in his music and very meticulous in all his MV productions you can tell how top notch his music videos. Cinematic, visual, production, his acting, rap , lyrics just so phenomenal and brilliant created by Suga!!! Thats why to me even I love all his brothers in BTS ,to me he is the best of the best!!!

Agust D’s Song: In the context of the song “Haegeum” by Agust D (SUGA from BTS), the term takes on a metaphorical meaning. SUGA revealed in an interview that it represents "lifting a ban and allowing something that was forbidden". The song builds on the universe introduced in his 2020 single “Daechwita,” and both songs share common themes, lyrics, and visuals. To fully understand “Haegeum,” fans are encouraged to watch it in conjunction with the yet-unreleased music video for "Amygdala. The haegeum is a traditional Korean string instrument. It features a hollow soundbox, two silk strings, and a rod-like neck. It has been played in Korean court music, folk music, and even modern music for hundreds of years

Suga is a super talented rapper and producer. His hair has been different lengths, recently for his solo stuff it has been longer. Not a real scar

His hair is usually short but when they went on hiatus in 2022, they all grew their hair out. They looked great. Haegeum is a traditional Korean instrument, but also means 'to liberate'. Suga is known for his deep, honest and emotionally raw lyrics. He also wrote, composed and produced this album himself and he made the storyboard for this MV himself. He's won Asian music awards for his production for other artists, as well. JHope is the 3rd rapper. You may like his song 'Arson' or 'Neuron'. Agust-D is 'Suga' backwards, plus DT for 'D-Town' which is his hometown of Daegu. P.S. I love Stephanie Soo!

Omg thank you for telling what his name meant! I love that, and I do think they look great with longer hair! Wow, I didn’t know he did all of this himself! He’s so talented and smart, that’s so cool and I think that shows that he’s a true artist because he wants to make sure his messages come through fully. I did check out Arson so I’ve gotta edit that and everyone’s been saying to check out Neuron so that’ll be the next thing I film!

Three rappers, you have left out Jhope, Hobi. J hope is the dance leader of the group but learned to rap from RM and Suga, he has his own style. He is also a sub vocalist.

  • @MyTamone

Jungkook is a sub-rapper. And Jhope is a sub vocalist. But the main rappers are RM, Suga and Jhope. There are 4 vocalists: Jin, Jungkook, V and Jimin. AgustD is just Suga spelt backwards and DT for Daegu Town where he’s from. He uses the stage name Suga in BTS and AgustD for his solo projects.💜

didnt finish the video yet so dont know if you mention this so sorry if you do. but if you notice hes playing two characters a "bad guy" the killer/theif and the "good guy" the police detective but later the detective is shown as corrupt and money hungry and gets angry he burns the money and tries to kill him. since you mention you watch Stefanie soo idk if you watch rotten mango as well but if you do you know about korean police so this was actually very bold of him to portray the police in this way. im not sure how deep you are into bts yet/members besides this being your first suga video but bts has a lot of social commentary/political/soical justice/empowerment/protest songs along with songs about mental health, self love, etc they very rarely have just cliche love songs but even when they do its still more complex than most boybands love songs and leads to a larger picture. they cover all genres and all topics and will continue to tackle new ones in the future. we never can predict what a member or the entire group will release. im glad you pay attention to lyrics cause its one of if not the main reason theyre so big. besides the production, visuals, their personalities and them being good looking. lyrics is majority of armys main focus as well as the storyline in the music videos. so many armys became armys before even watching music videos or video/photo contents some stuck to spotify/apple music for years before diving into their visual/look/personality aspects. which is one thing thats very different for a "kpop" group which are usually focused on visuals first. bts got big globally first before in korea because the industry and public did not consider them that handsome and they didnt like that their music was deep or that they were from a poor label that couldnt have the best visuals right away. not sure how much of bts history you know but theyre not under hybe theyre under bighit bts and bighit created hybe together. so hybe has no say or control over bts in any way whether its their creative decisions or their personal lives. bts and bighit grew together from being almost bankrupt to what they are today and they never lost their true intentions which is to speak about the unspoken topics and try to help make changes to help middle and lower class have better chances at life as they were in the same boat as the rest of us for years before they truly got big in 2017. and fame didnt change them in a negative way if anything it showed them more ways they can help others since now they saw both ends of the spectrum. sorry for ranting and sorry if you knew this already :) cant wait to continue to follow your bts journey !!

Thank you for all of this info! I do listen to rotton mango(I’m a HUGE fan of Stephanie I watch all her stuff lol) so I have learned some stuff about the police in Korea, reminds me a lot of how the police in America treat us and its horrible, so I agree it was incredibly brave and important for him to touch on that, and I love that in general BTS makes sure to speak on these topics, because far too many artists with big platforms don’t. That really makes me respect them so much more and I appreciate that they don’t allow the money and the fame to corrupt them the way some do! I definitely didn’t know all of that stuff about them, and I’m still learning so much from fans and from doing my own research and I’m really loving everything I’m discovering about them! And thank you for watching! This is all super fun honestly I can’t get enough of them!

This song is part of his trilogy. The order to watch is Daechwita -> Haegeum -> Amygdala. Don’t worry about watching it twice in one video. ARMYs don’t mind. We love when reactor actually pay attention to the video and lyrics. Great reaction video! I hope you get to react to the other two songs.

You can never recognise any BTS member by their hair. Every colour every style they do it all. Suga is particularly adventurous. Knowing they would all have to get a buzz cut when they go into thexarmy. They all grew it out first. Except for RM who buzzed his the summer before. However he did die it a mink colour then a grey.

Even if you have to play the song 5 times do it. Agust D reversed is DT (Daegu Town, where he is from) then Suga. Yup Yoongi (Suga) always keeps in real always has, His song AMYGDALA the last song in this trilogy (Haegeum is the second) is very raw and open. Yoongi hair isn't always that long in fact in used to be short most of the time but it was only the last year and a half or so before the military he grew it, i really love it long. Have you listen to any of Jhope's (Hobi, nickname) Songs yet? I'd recommend Arson and More also if you can find a live with lyrics Future.

Hey! Army here since 2020. You should watch Daechwita. Heagum, Daechwita and Amygdala is a trilogy so it's much better if you watch them all together. Suga is know for his raw lyrics so watching his video one time would not be enough. Plus the video are very cinematic so you would really be captivated by the shots and to absorb everything, you would need to watch it again and again. I look forward to more of your reactions 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
