They always gotta Kill one of the two lesbian characters. Since they couldn’t off the main character of the show, and wanted her to be with Bellamy (who I actually like now some 4 seasons later), so they off’d Lexa. I’m still waiting for a Lies My Girlfriend Told Me movie adaptation. I don’t know if Julie Ann Peters would sign off on that film, but I hope she does because if she could at least write the script with a writer and then greenlight the film, then it would be up to the studio to greenlight production, that would be awesome. It’s one of the best YA lesbian romance/coming-of-age stories I’ve ever read, if not the best.

Sanvers is so great when their relationship finally gets going, it's the cutest thing ever. That clip really didn't do them justice.

It's called the "equator" because it is equidistant from both the north and south pole. It's the mid point. "Eleven" comes from Old English "enleofan" meaning "one left" (over ten). I googled it. This is the answer I got: "The name "equator" is Latin for "even-maker"; at equator the day and night are exactly the same length around the year. The equator is halfway between the North Pole and the South Pole."
