I believe that you got very interested in Fujikaze for various reasons after watching TDJ the other day. He has been on KZread since he was 12 years old. it is a long story kind of, but he became very popular on it and got the chance to debut as a professional singer approx. 4 years ago (Nan-Nan, yes, it is a very challenging (controversial so to speak in my opinion) song as you said in your comment///but I loved that song and started loving Fujikaze from the bottom my hear. He is an amazing person as you can imagine from all the relics of his songs all of them made by himself) Singer song writer... . Thanks for the interesting reactions. He was born in a small rural town in Japan, where his parents owned a cafe. He started playing the piano at an early age with his father's guidance and started uploading piano performance videos to youtube when he was 12 years old. Since then, he has uploaded many piano cover performance videos until his debut. He also started singing while playing the piano in the middle of his career. These videos can still be seen on his official KZread channel. Please take a look if you like. He is also studying in a music course at his high school. You can listen to his eye-opening performance of the song he played for his high school entrance exam on his official KZread channel.

That is exactly right.😆 He grew up listening to various genres of music with the love and support of his family. By the way, did you know that his name “Kaze” means “wind”? He has an older brother and two sisters, who have beautiful names meaning “sky,” “sea,” and “land". His brother Sora(sky) is also a musician, playing piano and trumpet. The “solakaze” channel has many videos of the boy Kaze and his older brother Sora playing together💓

It's great that you seem to have gotten so much from the little you've seen so far. That's right, NaN-NaNw is his debut song and the MVs you just saw are the first four singles from his debut album, Help Ever Hurt Never, released in close succession to one another. He was 22 in all of them. The b-sides of the album are all awesome as well. He has written other stuff in collabs pre-debut and released them independently before but it's to other people's lyrics so they sound very different. As far as music that's truly his own goes, NaN-NaNw is the first. Different people meet him at different times through different songs and/or performances. Like yours is TDC, and mine is the live performance of Matsuri that he put up on his channel. But yeah his earliest fans would be seeing these videos or hearing these songs first.

Thank you for your reaction. He's from Okayama Prefecture in Japan, so he speaks in Okayama dialect. I think even Japanese people probably have trouble understanding his lyrics. I think he became quite famous with "Shinunoga-iiwa." Please give it a listen.

Since I'm still not so familiar with Japanese I can not distinguish different dialects yet, so I just assumed it was how he sang 😅 About "Shinunoga-iiwa" , I knew that song a little bit since it went viral, but I still haven't watched the video (I just saw that there is written "Not a MV" and I thought it was funny) but I've reacted to Fujii Kaze Tiny Desk concert and he performed "Shinunoga-iiwa" there! I really really really loved that live performance

He started playing at KZread when he was 13 or 12 years old. He had started building fan base during this time. He was influenced by so many different genre of music. He has strong jazz and classic background on piano.
