Kai's vocal tone is so unique. Can't wait to hear more of his voice in KOLO 2 next month

"Obsession" is the most underrate EXO album, and I don't think there will be an objection. "Jekyll" is my favourite, and it has live performances in their concerts with "Obsession" costume (not in high quality unfortunately) Chanyeol and Kais' vocal is the biggest surprise in this album. Chanyeol's soft rap in "Groove" is as sexy as hell

I think DMUMT is leaning on the more Pop/mainstream side while OBSESSION is the most experimental, but they are both no skips albums (duh, it's Exo)...unless someone loves to hate for sport it's almost impossible for someone to dislike Exo, they literally have every freaking genre on their albums! I personally love DMUMT the most, but tbh there isn't a single album I didn't like! (ps: I get why day after day might sound weird at first, but after a while, it ended up being one of my favourites! give it another chance in the future!)

Kai's vocal really stand out on this album. Ofcourse we have suho, chen and baekhyun but the absence of kyungsoo and xiumin give rise to the ever outstanding vocals of kai.

Obsession and DMUMT are superior professionally! Like the songs are in another level of production!!! I can’t wait to see this!

This album is truly one of my favorite Kpop albums. Of any group. It’s just really well made. It’s got a specific sound I love and not one song feels like filler. It’s not a trend. But it’s timeless good songs. Exo as always but this specific album is really unique.

I hear you when you say Kai's voice is so unique. One of Kai's names is Voice Colour King. And a lot of reactors, vocalists, performers and people with a good ear for music also name Kai's voice as the most unique and favourite! I love it the most too, I can appreciate all of their voices (Baekhyun's makes me cry at particular notes), but you can never miss Kai's and it's so obvious for what reasons they put him as second voice in particular llines. I don't know if there's any other singer with such unique timbre.

Baekhyun's rap in Ya Ya Ya is one of the cutest things ever! 🤧

My fave Exo albums are: "DMUMT", "UNIVERSE", "OBSESSION", "EXODUS" but honestly all of their albums are masterpieces lmao. Btw if you wanna react to their winter albums I recommend you to start with "Universe". It's just so good and it doesn't sound like other regular winter/christmas albums at all lol I feel like you'd like it! "Trouble" is my favorite song on this album, and the first time I listened with headphones, I got so into it that I slipped on black ice and busted open my knee at "Good feels bad, bad feels good," lol. Obsession is in my top 3 EXO albums, but my personal favorite is The War: The Power of Music repackage.

I love 9 of them and D.O. is my ultimate bias but I appreciate compliment for all of them. Kai vocal is warm and unique. They shine differently in different song. I love Sehun's part in Paradise. DFTF album, I appreciate more of Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun part even though I'm over the moon because D.O. is back hehe 💕

There's a fancam of Kai during Jekyll live performance, by Mr.Destiny (best Kai's fancams), I don't know if there's another video of Jekyll live. Jekyll for a long time was my favourite in the whole world, then Groove, then Baby you are, then... Aaaah! All of their songs are the best period.

Honestly, King EXO just keeps getting better!!! Come 2022, I hope SM releases a compilation of their greatest hits to mark the group's 10th anniversary in the industry.

Literally this album is one of the best albums EVER. There are NO skips. Even the title track is amazing, normally I find that some b sides are better than the title track, but the b sides in this album compliment the tt so much. A masterpiece indeed ✨

It's just that sometimes as an EXO-L, I tend to imagine things that are waay bigger than what was given. And one of them is to hope that the vocal lines would release a rap album. It's gonna be funny (and lit) to see the vocal line rap and the rap line sing though (in an album where they exchange positions😆). It'll gonna be something beyond any others decision and expectation 😆. I didn't say the members above didn't rap. I even saw them rap (as a game) during EXO's showtime. And even on others side tracks. It's just different to see/hear them only rap in an album🤧 though it may not really happen. I'm just saying. I still love them more when they sing since it's their in-born talent.🤗

I’ll be honest I LOVE EXO’s DISCOGRAPHY l mean every song, their album production is insane even if there’s song which is not that GREAT for me they’ll make it THAT GOOD with their vocals 😩💕 If i have to choose one from this album is butterfly effect for sure Thank you for the reaction ❤️

Agree with you. I listen to any KPOP in general. A lot of good song BUT, really... there's something about EXO that make you keep falling for them everytime you listen to them. They are not the best but definitely one of the best. I even feel am I bias? Because why do I like most of their songs? Group, Sub Unit and Solos... All different colour but I like it all. Funny but true. I guess their vocal combination make the best result in KPOP. Compliment each other so well. See how different direction of style they go for their solo and subunits.. we can have all of the in the playlist, we have all kind of sound!

ahh it's been a minute! Obsession has definitely been an experimental album for sure one that I had to listen to a couple of times but I can confirm is a non skip album~ Jekyll does have a live performance you should def watch it!! I will never get over Kai's vocals and I'm glad you always mention how much you like his voice don't know why you get hate for saying so when it's true the beauty of his vocal tone is so unique and colorful I can't help but be in awe everytime I hear his voice on the tracks. My faves on this album are groove, jekyll, yayaya and day after day (I do love this song very much but I can see where you come from when you mean it seems a bit out of place) overall the exos never disappoint when it comes to bringing amazing music 🖤

For me "Obsession" is their best album for the reason that it doesn't sound like k-pop to me and I think it has everything I look for an album. Before I was torn between Obsession and DMUMT so I think these two are the best including The War but my personal top 3 favorites are 1st Obsession 2. DMUMT and 3. XOXO but seriously there's no album that I didn't like. As for winter albums, I think Universe tops all hehe. I get into fandom last year and obsession was the full album I first listened to because atthat time this was the latest album Chen was my favorite since before I got more attracted to him specially his low note parts ,his emotional delivery ,ofcourse highnotes too. And other one who got my attention most was Suho.Sometimes their voice sound so similar well now I can differenciate . Chanyeol's rap are crazily attractive too.

Sir Austin, Oohmaya channel (Cesar Oh's second channel) has the most perfect lyrics video, it shows all the lyrics in meaningful way and all the members are correctly matched to their lines, including high notes, harmonizations, ad-libs
