The deep voice rapping in good night is Sua. She did more rapping in the early songs then Gayheon tok over more of rapping parts in later songs.

Yeah true that. Gahyeon was first "introduced as a rapper" in Piri.

You mentioned the cloaks being dope - they actually sell those as official Dreamcatcher merchandise, along with the industry-famous lightstick (version 2 of which is coming soon!) SuA has had to work very hard on her voice - she was diagnosed several years ago with vocal cord nodules that will - eventually - curtail her ability to sing. She has followed extensive treatments and exercises to counter the effects, and her voice is actually more powerful with a greater range than it was at debut (she can even hit higher notes than Siyeon). She is also starting to pick up soundtrack work as well as taking acting classes; she has spoken about how she sees every day that she can sing as a gift. SuA seems to be the only member who is looking to acting for expanding her career - Dami & Siyeon are working on songwriting and producing, and Gahyeon (who ranked at the top of her schools in mathematics) spends a lot of her free time overseeing her investment portfolio.

1. They don’t miss, and they somehow just get better each comeback. Like…Idek how to explain it lol Depending on your music taste you might gravitate towards some songs more than others, but they haven’t made a single bad song. I also feel like the depth in their lyrics doesn’t get enough recognition! They’re…yeah, they’re art and create art in its best form. 2. “An Extensive Guide to Dreamcatcher 2023” by Dreamer is the most complete, updated guide! It’s long, but so worth it. I also recommend Insomnicsy’s “This is…” series, each member gets a 7-minute video and there’s a new set of videos every year with new footage so there’s no overlap. (Also anything by Insomnicsy really, the channel is run by Kit, who is amazing and really great at showcasing different sides of DC.) I’m really enjoying your journey into the black hole that is Dreamcatcher and will look forward to more videos!

they always make bad songs . . . bad songs to be ranked, because their worst still in good side. so many variety thus can't be ranked either.

My Toy's is one of my favorite intros. It has such great atmosphere, and the guitars kick your teeth in when they drop in. Their diversity is why so many of us love them. They have songs in all the genres but so many people never give them a listen outside of the title tracks and never see what they've been missing out on. They do such a good job infusing their performances with emotion that their ballads often cause people to get emotional. Even some of their heavy tracks, like Break the Wall and Reason can elicit similar responses. They make music that can make you want to headbang and cry at the same time, lol.

Happy to join your journey. Dreamcatcher is so talented, and i think their product are artworks. Really happy can see you point out their harmony and background sounds. And the special clip, not just showcase their vocals or the music creativity, like you said, their emotional expression, and some special effects in the clip, they was so good! Please careful on your seat, i can't imagine if you are going to listening their future albums, i afraid you will fall to the ground. Their future b-sides were indestructible.

FYI, good night can be interpreted in different ways, just like Chase Me. if you check chase me, it can be related to the horror story in the MV, can be about 'that popular girl in the school who attracts others to fall in love", also can be as their confident to attract new fans to chase them (to be the fans) in good night, aside from horror story in the MV, it can be interpreted to the newcoming fans too. "stay trapped like this forever" as "stay admire us and be our fans forever", even JiU herself said dreamcatcher is like a black hole, once you get in, you can't get out. also their confident to take non-fans, especially because rock wasn't a thing in Korea. "run to the place you can't see, you'll be trapped no matter what" can be interpreted as "keep trying to run away as you don't like rock, but we will still come to you in the end" I believe that interpretation also the reason that made Rolling Quartz (actual K-rock band) chose Good Night as their first official remake song, even put it as title track of their first mini album. slightly longer because they removed the intro rythm guitar but added guitar solos after Siyeon's high note part (before JiU's distorted voice)

As Jiu said, Dreamcatcher is a Black Hole, once you go in you can never get out. The guides are full of song spoilers so be aware of that. The ghosthunter found the book in the memory room in Chase Me and is using the spells in it to catch the girls. The book belongs to the girls and is a danger to them, since they can be manipulated by it's spells. Burning the page showing the bound girl released Sua from the spell. They originally found the book in the third title track Fly High which is a prequel to Chase Me. The forest zone is another dimension which they used to escape from the hotel and get out into the world. They dropped the book there because that dimension is uninhabited so it will never be found to threaten them again.

If you're especially fond of Siyeon I wonder if anyone has told you about main rapper Siyeon. They did a cover* of Seventeen - Oh My! (a very cute song) and Siyeon is both knockout gorgeous and the main rapper. * - oh yeah, as you're dealing with the seven years of Dreamcatcher songs trying to stay in your chair, there is also the seven years of covers that are usually better than the original. A sampler platter: the Oh My! cover I mentioned, Yoohyeon-Secret Love Song (have tissues), SuA-Copycat (spice warning), Abracadabra cover dance (iconic Dreamcatcher).

Since you're going through the albums you may want to avoid a regular guide which will spoil the majority of the title tracks. I'd suggest watching the 1st season (2020) of insomnicsy_인썸닉씨 This is series which are getting to know each individual member videos. They are 8 video 7 minutes each so it's like watching a long guide together. You can find playlists for them on her channel or the same ones on my home page.
