I was 14 years old when I watched that video for the first time and it helped me so much and opened my eyes to so many things. I had never heard the term “clinical depression” before then and I was floored to find out what exactly it was and that I had been dealing with it myself for a while. I’m 22 now and have had a very long journey to reach the point of stability I have with my mental health now, and watching this your reaction to this now feels extremely cathartic and reminded me of how far I’ve come. I’m glad you’ve come so far too, Kassie. ❤️

i love your comment bc i’ve had nearly the same experience. i’m also 22 now and watched this video years and years ago and rewatching it now has made me reflect on my own journey and how much i’ve grown since then. i am so proud of myself and equally as proud of you and kassie for how far we all have come.

I don’t think anyone would never guess that Kassies past was bad. You would never guess she’s depressed. Online, she has such a bubbly and bright personality.

I am so so sorry kassie! You’re sister sounds like such a sweet and amazing person! I know that she is so proud of you! This video has helped me so much and put me in a positive mindset! Also I really wanna hurt those ppl that were so mean to you and your sister 😭

I keep coming back to this video recently because i’m going through a bit of a hard time lately that is very very similar to everything Kassie had to go through, and it makes me feel so comforted seeing that someone as positive and as amazing as her understands and knows what kind of pain I’m currently going through. It gives me hope that no matter what happens to me in the future or no matter how my current situation turns out, I can still come out on top and still be a positive person with a deep love and care for people and for the world. Whenever i’m anxious, I feel an overwhelming feeling of guilt for doing something that distracts me or makes me feel happy, and Gloom’s videos are one of the only things I can spend time on nowadays that don’t make me feel guilty, and I feel incredibly happy whenever she uploads. To Kassie: thank you for taking time out of your day to make some amazing fun content that cheers people up, you’re really an inspiration and I love all of your videos! keep doing what makes you happy because it makes many other people super happy as well, stay strong ❤️

Cassie you are such a beautiful person, and I think that's part of why you're my favorite youtuber, you don't try to hide or portray yourself in a certain way. a lot of people are scared to open up like this to their friends let alone almost 4 million people, I think that says something about how brave you are. I myself suffer from depression and i think that making videos like this is not necessarily to raise awareness but to show people how someone can be at such a low point in their life and come out of it. I know it'll never be completely gone, but sharing this with people might help them too and i think that your sister would be proud of you for that.

This vid is so important for people going through the same things that kassie did I agree that her growth has been incredible and i hope people going throgh this can see the messages and grow too.

@@Bogeywithdahogey I’m so sorry but I don’t know who to believe for mental health anymore- I know that Kassie has and always will have mental health issues but my friends are really shallow with this kind of stuff-from not believing me and others that I have mental health issues even if I have gotten it diagnosed from a professional, to faking that they have OCD and saying it stands for Obsessive Cleaning Disorder when it doesn’t. I’m not trying to focus the spotlight on me, but those are the experiences that I’ve had. P.S I wasn’t trying to be rude on the grammar thing so I apologise to the people that took it that way

i honestly completely agree with the laughter thing. one of what i think it's one of my purposes in life is making people laugh and smile because i see the beautiful effect on them. some of my favorite comedians helped me through my darkest times and i don't know what i would do without comedy and laughter because it truly is the best medicine ❤️❤️❤️

i never knew her deeply until this video. I am so sorry kass for ur sister. Im so proud of kass for staying strong for her family and herself. This is really inspiring
