In my eyes he still has a mustache but that's only because it stands out way more than the beard. It's like an actual good mustache which hardly ever happens (please don't shave the beard and leave the stache it looks creepy) but if the beard hair was more even with it then yeah it's a whole beard. For now it's a mustache with a short beard

If you watch her older videos her Boston accent is thick as FUCK. She was in Boston for longer than just 4 years of undergrad if I remember correctly but accents can be picked up and dropped pretty easily depending how often you hear them, code switching is wild
