V has this free-spirited aura to him (especially when he was younger), and is an innocent but deep-thinking person. Suga once said a long time ago that he couldn't believe that someone as pure as V could exist. Earlier in their carreer he was often labeled as the "dumb one of the group" and "the alien" bc of his personality, which is sad bc as RM has said multiple times, V is intellegent in so many ways. I love how he has grown into such a confident man who doesn't care about what others think of him, and just does what he wants (having a mullet, wearing glasses despite some fans saying it doesn't suit him, openly saying that his fav movie is "call me by your name" despite the possibility of k-media's judgement). I adore him

actually taehyung wasn't the last "add" to bts, the last one to do the auditions was Jimin and he was also the one who was a trainee the least. Tae was keept as a secret member by bighit till they debuted so the fans believed that bts was gonna be a 6 members group. so he was showed to the fans only after and that caused kinda a shock between them and at first some accepted him immediately others didnt, only after some time. but taehyung is an essential member and I couldn't imagine bts not being ot7

Also when they debuted, Tae was the one who gained more fans the faster. He even had gained a fanbase in Taiwan right after debut. His power!

I was smiling at the screen the whole time I just can't help it he owns me lol. The last minute addition was Jimin actually because of his modern dance background and visuals(whatever that means🙄) didn't fit with the hip hop concept bh were going for. Tae joined before both Jin and Jimin but he was kept as a hidden member for mysterious/wow factor until right before debut. Apparently bh Also kept him hidden bcs other companies tried to steal him as well lmao. Yes to everything you said about his duality. I hope other armys specially solo stans would understand that he's just maturing into a beautiful man and him not being hyper in a vlive or an award show or a run episode doesn't automatically mean he's depressed or sad or anything. His personality is deep like water so I hope we can give him space to grow more into the beautiful man he is at his own pace.

I agree with this! Seeing him grow from that hype "weird" (as the members and staff jokingly used to call him for his unusual fun behavior and obstinate self) kid to a mature grown man was so natural I didn't even noticed it until like a while it he had started to change. He has always been insightful, thoughtful and caring. He thinks in another ways most of people don't. He looks at the world in another perspective which i find beautiful. But some people need to stop jumping into conclusions. He wont be 16-18 all his life. He just grew up and became quieter but inside he is still like a fun kid and that's what I love about him and BTS as a whole. They are grown men that are in touch with their inner child. The Little Prince (book) talks about the important of this as an adult cuz it's what keeps a balance in our lives. I'm very much proud of Tae.

V it's very special, because he looks perfect from outside and cold sometimes, depending of the situation, but inside he is very sensitive and needs love and attention and affection, this is how I see him. In my opinion he is a great actor, because he can hide many emotions by putting a mask on his face. I like his personality and his voice a lot.

The reason why Tae caught my eye and is my ultimate bias is because of when he played Flinch on James Corden and when he introduced himself on Ellen the duality! 😂

Jin is bias, and V is definitely my bias wrecker. All members of BTS wreckes me time to time, but Taehyung is doing it more often 😄 He definitely matured a lot lately, and he became more serious, but he still has his silly child side. This boy is out of this world, he has such a different interesting mind and perspective of life, the way he thinks and acts just hipnotizes me.

LOL Others have already corrected you on V not being a last minute addition, but rather bighits "secret weapon" who was (kinda but not really very well lol) kept hidden until debut. He has said this made him sad because all the others were making Twitter posts and Vlogs for over six months before he was allowed to, and he would stand to the side out of sight sometimes while the others did their vlogs. All the boys were together as BTS practicing, hanging out and living in a dorm together by December 2012. Jimin was the last to both become a bighit trainee and an official BTS member (not really last minute in my books but I guess maybe to others it is). V became a trainee in November of 2011 (same month as Jin and Jungkook). Jimin arrived in early May of 2012. V was introduced as a member right before debut, however (and here's a rare bit of into for you lol) the first photos of V were in fact posted in December of 2012! He wasn't named in them as a member of BTS (same with Jimin) and I think he was supposed to just be seen as a random trainee, but he is shown doing daily trainee stuff and hanging out with Jin, RM, Jungkook, Suga and Jimin.

Technically Jimin was the last member added to the group, but Tae was kept a hidden member after the lineup was revealed pre-debut. He's talked before about how hard it was for him to be kept apart from the other members, and that he used to sit in the corner beside the trash can when the others did livestreams so that he wouldn't be seen on camera. I think it definitely contributed to some of his insecurities, and feeling like he was lagging behind the other members in some ways. He's also said that Bang PD didn't even remember his name most of the time during that first year, and he was being kept secret because they weren't 100% sure if they were actually going to debut him or not. I'm so glad he's come to realize his own worth and talent over the years. Also, it's funny that despite being kept a secret for so long, on the day his photo was finally revealed there was immediately a sudden boom of V fansites being made lol.

Tae wasn't actually a last minute addition to the group. Jimin was the last member to join & had the shortest trainee time. Taehyung was a trainee with the other members for quite a while but he was a "hidden member". No one outside of BigHit knew he existed until their debut day. It always hurts for me to think of these times because, while the other members filmed their vlogs, he'd stand by the trash can (where he couldn't be seen or heard during the filming). He also filmed solo vlogs but he couldn't post them anywhere because no one knew about him.

How can they live in the world full of negativity in their daily lives. Someone gave you the V story about not being last but funny enough what you said actually sounds like the "true" last edition Jimin. He was the one always unsure, thought he had to practice all the time, thought he wasn't good enough. But with age, soul searching and an epiphany at one of the concerts, he finally is comfortable in his own skin. He of course still works on his singing but he isn't devastated anymore if he "messes up" like he used to be. I think they all did a lot of thinking about things last year after they considered breaking up. They all seem happier, more playful and just at ease.

I think they learned a lot from AHL, although it was a big meme, they actually learned good life lessons and advice you couldn't get anywhere else. Hip hop isn't just a genre its a lifestyle, and they got the inside of that. That mentor who was talking to V I think her words stuck with him. And so did Tony's when they were giving their earnings back to the homeless, they still do that today, they give back, because money isn't everything but if you have support and love, that's more important in the long run. They use their platform to make a difference and that's excellent. Btw Hwarang is great lamwkwb I finished it a few weeks ago. Miss it already.

Jimin is the last added member. The thing with Tae is, he was the hidden member, at pre debut, the company only introduced the 6 members and hide V, but he managed debuted together with all the members...

Also its really funny 😂 i think you should watch this along with this year’s Attic. It gives incredible opportunity to see them for who they are, unless you watch their vlives.. But you will see the most important clip of that in the taegi video so I’ll leave you to it🤭 Tae was actually a hidden member that was announced when they were debuting. Since bighit was broke at the time and didnt get to promote bts, they gave them freedom of social media and vlogs even before debuting so that people can get to know them and their personalities. Tae was never the part of that, he vlogged by himself in his room that never got published. Even tho they were always 7 behind the cameras it still gave him insecurities when he was debuting.. He was always hyper and in his own world but he’s calmed down more now. They even twlked about it in this year’s festa as well. I just love the depths of his personality so much. Hes a wonderful being. And i must admit i was a bit intimidated by his chronic bitch face when he was simply staring at something l. Those damn powerful eyes 🤤
