The performance of Endless Story at their 10th Anniversary Tour is the ultimate tear jerker.

puzzle is always a fan favorite. The song is about being in love with a married man. shambles is a song for an anime which is about fighters, so the lyrics make a lot more sense with that in mind. And endless story mv is just a great looking video. They changed the ending lyrics in the live version to make the song a thank you to the fans.

Thanks, great reaction! You picked out a lot of what is going on in each of these songs on the first listen, which many people miss or don't pay any attention to. You might also be interested in the acoustic version of Puzzle with Kanami (guitar) and Saiki (vocals), plus the 10th anniversary Yokohama show, where endless story was the closer. Saiki addresses the fans directly toward the end and it's pretty hard not to be moved.

*Puzzle* is a well written song lyrically and emotionally but *Puzzle Acoustic* give a whole new emotion to the song. *Endless Story* is an anthem that was intend with crowd participation seen them live when they tour the United States in 2022/2023 and when this song started to play and the crowd started joining it was truly magical. Now you need to watch them perform "Endless Story" as the closing number at their 10th Anniversary Tour Final in Yokohama Arena. That was their largest and longest live show - the culmination of 10 years of hard work - and they pulled out all the stops for this 3 and a half hour long concert.

Great trio of songs, especially for great lyrics IMO. The only thing I'd do differently is listen to their new official live of Endless Story, but there's time for that. Don't think you shouldn't do it because you did this one though - it's the last song of their 10th anniversary show which lasted over 3 hours. The whole band gets quite emotional and us fans that have been with them for a long time - I'm not gonna lie - get really emotional with them. Endless Story is often how they end their shows - it's a huge singalong with the crowd, and in their official live they even added a verse thanking their fans for helping them succeed along the way. This band gets better and better with every listen, and they are the kind of band that a lot of folks say "saved their life" - or at least made it a hell of a lot more tolerable. Thanks again, B!

Puzzle acoustic version is a must watch as well with just Kanami on guitar and backing vocals accompanying Saiki, very powerful emotions and Saiki is just brilliant.

Excellent song choices and reaction, Biancamaria! You might want to check out the Yokohama live OMV version of Endless Story - with lyrics on. It gives you a real picture of the Maids heart and soul.

Sadly, ths version of Endless Story is no longer the greatest version however it is still a superb song. Please view Endless Story LIVE from November 2023 concert in Yokohama. It is the last song of an over 3 and 1/2 hour concert celebrating their 10 yrs of making music with each other. I weep almost everytime I wstch it. It is an outpouring of love and appreciation to the fans and of course the fans give that right back to the Maids. One of the most emotional performances I've ever seen! Even if you have to do it on your own time it will be worthwhile!

You reacted to these three songs in the perfect order, imo. I can't believe why I didn't love Endless story when I first listened to this version. Now I've listened to quite a few live versions and it hits me emotionally every single time, the studio version grew on me so much.

The Warning is another band you need to check out. They recently did a show in Japan and a collaboration on a song with the Maids. 3 sisters from Mexico. They sing in English and are phenomenal rockers!

Thank you so much for posting, even though you were uncertain! Reactions don't always have to be exaggerated to be interesting. Sometimes subtlety and insightfulness wins the day. I really liked, for instance, your little "oh" at Miku's breakdown riff during Puzzle. If you're looking for energy, Freedom Official Live is possibly the greatest performance of all time for transferring energy to people (not kidding) ⚡🎀⚡🎀⚡🎀⚡🎀⚡🎀

If that version of Endless Story had you welling up, you better have a full box of tissues with you when you see the live version, which was the final song for their 2023 10th anniversary tour. Turn on the closed captioning, sit back and enjoy the most heart felt and emotionally powerful performances in history. All of them are great, but Saeki pretty much steals the show by opening herself up and connecting with the crowd like never before. I'm sure your supporters wouldn't mind one bit if you did the same song twice, since it's a live version and they'll be too busy balling their eyes out to complain. Thanks for the great reaction! Listen to the acoustic version of puzzle it is so different a interpretation. Even if you don't make a video it is worth watching. And everybody else said it but the live version of endless story is very emotional.

Nicely done and well said. You picked up on the emotional aspect of their music, which often flies over the heads of those zeroed in on the riffs and the thunderous drums. I found it so interesting that during “Endless Story” you felt your heart was moved ❤ which is the mark of true artists. “I imagine this song could be important for the fans.” @13:15…oh my, you spoke truth! No doubt many will tell you about the official live performance from their 10th Anniversary grand finale at Yokohama Arena. The Maids even wrote an extra verse at the end especially for the fans. If you understand who Band Maid are and all they’ve managed to achieve? Please treat yourself to that magnificent performance. One pro tip: have tissues on hand 😢 ❤

Hi B, first time here. Rumors have it this Endless Story" video was shot on Oshima, an uninhibited island between the most northern Japan island and the mainland of Japan. The island was a volcano and after erupting made its own little island of black volcanic ash/sand/minerals. On Band-Maids last night of their 1-month blitz tour in the USA in 2022 in Chicago, Illinois at the House of Blues, Band-Maid played and the emotions just got to Akane (drummer) and she just started crying before the song was over. There is an acoustic version of Puzzle they is just Saiki and Kanami. It's so heartfelt, so emotional. It's about a woman who loves a married man she can't have. I believe Miku got the idea from a soap opera or Hallmark type movie (Someone will correct me if I'm wrong) You may already know but the rhythm guitarist (red rose), Miku, put this group together. She wanted to sing lead but stepped back for Saiki's stronger rock voice.
