Such a great song. The MV is exceptional as well. She gets her message across without being preachy. She is always thoughtful in her lyrics and presentation and that is what I love about her.

good to have you back. i have no clue why the music industry blocks aurora in the us of a. it's really a pity. aurora doesn't like the money based economy, that's one more reason why i like her so much. this song quotes a cree proverb and is a protest against the destructive force of the economy against our natural environment. afaik she will tour the americas later this year.

Aurora actually came to NYC for a single festival appearance in 2014, but since 2016 she has toured the US three times- the last being 2022. She has said that she will be touring Europe and the US in 2024 although no dates have been set as of yet. Many of us assume that the tour will be timed to promote her forthcoming album which we hope will be released within a few months, especially since she has just released two singles, “Your Blood” and “Conflict of the Mind”. The venues and dates you see for live performances on her website are primarily in Norway and mostly venues smaller than the big festival shows during the summer. Shows this month in major cities of Bergen and Oslo and in very good venues but I don’t know if any tickets would still be left. By the way, I know that during this past summer a lot of her videos were blocked in the US but the issue seems to have been resolved- most are once again available. She has toured many times in the US: 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, few concerts in Nov 2021, May/June 2022. She has announced South and North America tour in 2024, but the specific dates are not announced yet, so it is probably not until the Fall.

Sometimes in this one I miss the energy she can pour after each build up, especially the last one, but anyway this rendition is simply gorgeous. No wrath today, it's a softer plea. The way she can modulate her performances of a same song is so rich.
