Your favorite album from Pink Floyd is usually which ever one you are listening to at the time :)

I feel like this is mostly true, except that it really felt flat listening to the final cut after the wall (i was learning about Pink Floyd songs in the chronological order, except a few songs, that i knew about already like Money, Another Brick In The Wall, Comfortably Numb and Wish You Were Here! These are the only songs i knew about before starting from “scratch from their very first album released back in 1967 with Syd Barret still kicking around…)

Momentary Lapse Of Reason and especially Division Bell were both once again drastic improvement over The Final Cut! And we just don’t talk about 2014 one…let’s pretend it doesn’t exist…

I don’t think i’m going to surprise anyone with this by saying, that 70’s Pink Floyd is an era, when they almost never missed…you know like for most artist they will be lucky to hit their peak with two albums in one specific decade, but in Pink Floyd’s case each album starting from Meddle in 1971 finishing all the way to the Wall in 1979 felt like they never dropped from their peak once…Well maybe only Obscured By Clouds was slightly underwhelming, but that is a sole exception…

I love a The Final Cut. My four favorite Pink Floyd albums are: Dark Side, The Wall, Final Cut, Division Bell. To each his own.

Good Bye Cruel World is not a song about suicide, it is about the person getting to the point of fully surrounding himself by The Wall and blocking himself away from the rest of the world.

@@tenacioushart2084 Good one....!!!!! That's funny.... I played My CDS. I couldn't play an instrument... I am currently learning to play The Tin Whistle. Or Penny Whistle.(As it's also known) I tried Guitar, but failed miserably. I just love Rock Music. Pink Floyd, Genesis, Marillion, Uriah Heep, Yes, Wishbone Ash, Tom Petty, REM, Kansas, Foreigner, And Steve Marriott. I ain't been to a Gig for Years. Saw GENESIS in Glasgow Scotland. That was in 1998. Phil Collins was no longer in the Band. Ray Wilson was The Vocalist. "Calling All Stations" was the Album He sang on.(1997) I really like the Reviews that You do. Love Your enthusiasm. Some good Scottish Bands etc.... Wet, Wet, Wet, The Proclaimers, Travis, Big Country, Texas, Annie Lennox, Bay City Rollers, Alex Harvey Band. Gerry Rafferty. Just a few of the successful Acts from SCOTLAND. Best Wishes Ronnie MC Nairney AYRSHIRE SCOTLAND.

@@ronniemcnairney334 I love how each generation has really good music. I’ve been listening to a lot of 80s recently. I think the 90s and early 00s are my favorite but I enjoy everything from the 70s to today

@@tenacioushart2084 I think that the 80s for Me, was the last really good Decade for Music. Probably Chart Singles etc. Duran, Duran, Spandau Ballet, A Ha, ELO, To Name a few. I love 60s & 70s Music. I like a 60s Band called, THE SMALL FACES. Steve Marriott, was in Small Faces AND Humble Pie. I have Pink Floyd and Genesis Album Covers, in Frames, in My Living Room walls. My Girlfriend loves HEART and Stevie Nicks. All the best. Check out "The Division Bell" Album, by Pink Floyd OR, Atom Heart Mother. Waters isn't on Division Bell. But, it's Good !!!!! Keep Rockin' Ronnie MC Nairney Ayrshire SCOTLAND.
