They must have changed something or really dumb down the free. I spent an hour asking for a 3js sit, asking for parallax scroll, asking for a 3d object from in 3js. Could not get it to give me one. It would add basic website stuff but theres a lot more that could be done with this.

Great from the designers point of view , but mostly useless for visitors who dont want or need so much distraction from why theyve visited the sites

okay, and what about the responsibility??? the home webpage of dora isn't responsive. REALY SAD! i'm keep doing this stuff on Webflow. till dora gets a bit better.

Only the third site was really in 3D :/

The only downside to dora is how hard it is to integrate with your backend using nodejs

this seems like a slightly modern take on flash.

@@nickwoodward819 if you ever used flash in production, you wouldn't need to ask why. Essentially, flash popularised layering multimedia like this; think photoshop layers, but each layer can be an animation, sound, video, interactivity... and all of those layers could also have code applied to them. It is in this way that this approach reminds me a lot of flash.

​@@brymstoner you're describing html5 and any modern animation library though mate - sound/video/interactive layers that can be animated - in some cases using libraries originally built for flash. saying this site builder is a modern take something that already exists seems like a stretch tbh

Most of the time 3D on the web is a useless distraction that doesn't add any value. Also keep in mind that those 3D graphics might look cool on desktop but almost 60% of worldwide web traffic comes from mobile phones for which those effects look bad and drain the battery. The only reason 3D is interesting is to customize products you can buy online of for 3D artists to showcase or sell their work.

​@@princecodes247 If you take the M1 Mac on their website I need to scroll down 7 times to pass the animation in order to access the product information. I personally dislike being stuck in an animation I don't care about and losing control over my scrollbar. I understand this was made to showcase their sophistication but to me it has a negative impact on the UX and I dislike it. Now to each is own, if you want to add scrolling effects to every website just like apple, knock yourself out.
