Side note, Sehyoon's "Kiss him while I diss him I dunno but I miss him" is famous :P We love groups that don't change the pronouns in covers

I agree with everything you said in the Youngblood reaction, Donghun also has my favorite vocal in the entire group, but every one of them has such a distinct voice, while also being able to bring them together and make them sound similar enough in order to make those chanting parts and parts where they sing together hit so much harder

A.C.E in it's live is another level...you have to react to their own songs in this show 🥰

The English name of the album is _HJZM: The Butterfly Phantasy._ Unfortunately, there's only one version, but this photobook was what finally pushed me from fan to stan. Particularly the JunChan underwater photos and the photos in hanbok (traditional Korean clothing). I'm a total sucker for hanbok-inspired outfits. As for a bias, I'm OT5, because every single one of them wrecks me.

Kino did that in Pentagons lovesick girls cover too! They changed the main part to love sick boys (which makes sense since they are boys lmao) so I was expecting them to change the rap to from Prince to princess, but they didn't.

Honestly, they can sing anything and they're all amazing vocalists. Wow and BK are probably rappers because they're the most comfortable ones doing the rapping, but they could very well be vocalists all the time. And all their voices to me are pretty distinct. I could tell Jun's voice from day one with my eyes closed. It's got this rich R&B texture that I'd know anywhere. Donghun is incredible with the raspiness and distortion he can come up with. Chan is like crystal and I love his vibrato (not sure it's vibrato, sorry I'm not a vocal coach just a passionate listener; I mean what he does when his voice shakes with emotion). Wow is so versatile and, as much as I appreciate high notes, like you said, well-sustained low notes give me the shivers. BK can be so aggressive in the rapping and so inspired in the singing. These guys are truly ACES.

While I love the Youngblood cover, I keep coming back to their "Easier" (5 Seconds of Summer) cover. Its an experience...

Jun really embodied the Youngblood cover! My favorite covers are Someone You Loved, Youngblood, Easier, In My Blood, All of Me, Before You Go and Empty Space. They legit dont have any horrible or bad covers, they're all good.

For me, Jun is definitely my bias, only because as someone who loves drawing portraits, almost always it's the member that makes me want to draw when I look at them that end up being ny bias. I don't necessarily think he's the "most handsome" one, just that he has something seductive, almost bewitching about him that I love trying to capture. Then I have four biaswreckers in this group. Just, constant wrecking all around lol.

For covers, In my Blood has some of Donghun's best ad-libs. Easier's visuals shook me...along with Wow's falsetto. OMG. FYI I'm a pre-debut Stan and I still can't pick a bias....the struggle is real. OT5 Forever!💕🍀

It was Youngblood for me, I didn't even know the original song but when I saw Jun I said yeah... he's the man. It took me 1 day to watch all A.C.E videos, covers, performances, guides, everything I fell in love immediately

I'm convinced that A.C.E could take a song I hate and turn it into a song I love! My husband and I are both vocalists, and have been Choice for over a year now, and we are in awe of A.C.E and so proud of them. We periodically just stop and say, "Chan is the ace of A.C.E." Not meaning that he is better than the rest, but the position he plays as the beloved maknae and his amazing skill set kind of make him "the glue" of the group. He was so young when he started out with his hyungs that he learned so much from them and in turn, has challenged them and they've learned from him. Oh, and of course, Donghun's net shirt with the cut-off sweatshirt over it was solely for showing us that he uses his diaphragm for excellent breath support, lol. Donghun photocard: I could tell from far away with it upside down--"sad eyes" and beautiful lips, ha ha. My experience is that any time you really try to keep a bias, the other ones show up and say, "Not today!" and go after you with renewed persistence. With most of the members in their mandatory service, I've recently started watching old content, and I should warn you that that is very dangerous. They are like the cutest litter of puppies when they are together, when they are not being sexy and in attack mode. The Vlives are so funny and sweet.

When BlackPink's "How You Like That?" came out I did not like it at all, could not even listen to it through all the way, than our boys made it into a baby making song and I was 😳 I would hesitate to say it's the same song anymore. I love when they take covers and make them their own. 💙

I recommend reacting to their cover of Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood. Donghun’s ad libs and runs (if I’m using those terms right) destroy me in the best way. It was originally posted on a V LIVE channel called Peekavoo Studios if you want to watch/support the original, but plenty of people have posted it on KZread.

EXO is what started my journey into Kpop. I instantly fell in love with their vocals and it made me appreciate music again in a way I hadn't in a long time. When I decided to branch out further into the KPop world, I was nervous that I wouldn't find other groups that I connected with. Through some research and the help of Anitra, I found quite a few groups I love and one of them was A.C.E. Each member has their own unique sound, but their vocals blend so beautifully together. I didn't have a bias for the longest time, but Donghun's voice kept pulling at my heart strings. I am so happy that you have taken the time to explore A.C.E and share your journey with us. I'm enjoying watching your journey with A.C.E! Playing With Fire is so nostalgic to me. If you want, you can look up their fancams from busking and especially festivals (better search it in Korean), they were always having so much fun performing this song. It was like the last hype stage for them, and they gradually became more and more relaxed performing this song over the years, it's great. I think rather than "neutral", "chameleon" is a better word for Junhee's voice, because of how versatile he is! He knows exactly what he's doing, when it comes to many different genres. Sehyoon usually does stylistic choices the most, in both his singing and dancing. The members even say they are sometimes not sure if he's dancing to the same choreo as they all learned 5 minutes ago, lmao. He's a free soul. As for recommendations - Spark MV, Jindo Arirang performance video, Easier and Last Dance covers! And their soundcloud covers!

Ahh pleasently surprised seeing you react to Stay. When I got into a.c.e they only had two songs but lots of covers and Stay was the one that made me fall in love with their vocals which is my weak spot. I’ve seen some others mention it but Here I am again is my favorite a.c.e cover and one that can sometimes be overlooked because it’s not on their official yt channel.. ohh and no one has mention Again.. also a cover you won’t find on their official yt channel and didn’t see anyone mention it. 35:19 It's true that Junhee's vocals aren't as versatile as some of the other members but he's come a very long way in terms of range vocal stability since debut. To put it into perspective, he used to struggle so much that during Take Me Higher era the rest of A.C.E made a bet that he would buy them fried chicken every time his voice broke on stage. Back then Donghun explained that Junhee's vocal range was limited due to past illness from when he was a trainee, and that he had to work diligently with a specialist vocal coach just to be able to sing a song as high pitched as Take Me Higher. I've always loved his unique tone though. During the Unit (survival show) he sang songs he wasn't explicitly credited for in the show but Choice could always recognise his voice because it sticks out XD

Their Easier cover is also amazing!! Also you should react to their take on "Arirang" that they did. It's so amazing!

As much as I'm Jun biased, I stan A.C.E as my ult because I love all of their voices, their dancing, their personalities... They're a group of wreckers and they know it 😂 If you ever get around to it - the two behind videos for favourite boys/this album have more of the underwater Jun Chan red string of fate pics and also more of them in hanbok with chests out.... very worth a watch.

I’ve personally always preferred their Korean song covers. From predebut it’s basically all their song covers on their channel done on Sofar Sounds and the one on Danalmusic Live’s channel. They’re all just sitting around and singing in front of a small audience; it’s very relaxed. Post debut I have a fondness for all their covers on Idol Radio, It’s Live, and Singing Room. I really enjoyed the more detailed analysis of their vocals that you did during Youngblood. It’s so interesting! I also live vicariously through your unboxing because I’ve been staying strong and only been buying digital copies of songs from Kpop groups that I like. I’m totally the type to obsessively collect things so it’s a slippery slope I’ve been trying my damnedest to avoid.

Dear Austin Thank you for reacting to A.C.E. Loved them since predebut and still my favourite boy group. Jun is my bias and i love his voice, it's unique tone is instantly recognisable. One of the few vocally talented kpop groups 👏 Their underwater photos are magical and mesmerising, and I've never seen such beautiful photos from any other Kpop group. Much love 💘

If you like the live setting, I highly recommend you check out their Sofar Seoul videos (especially their cover of last Dance). It's live recordings of them doing a live session performing some acoustic covers just before they debuted with Cactus.
