Jose was my live interviewer for React and Nodejs assessment at Turing. Pretty chill guy! Makes you feel at ease. I did my best to sell myself the right way and I aced the technical part of the test ;)

Hi Nick, As you already attended turing react node interview. I have some questions for you. 1) Do I need to master DS for react node interview? Like did they asked any DS algorithm? 2) Do I need to be proficient in CSS? Or familiar with CSS is ok..like did they asked any in-depth CSS questions?

Thank you for sharing how to become a developer, improve your interview abilities, and the tips about joining communities to enhance ourselves. I liked the idea of Turing becoming a part of a team rather than bidding for a gig. I will explore more.

This is awesome information! Thanks to Jose for such great insights. I'm thinking of how to get with the turing process, luckily found this. As Jose suggested I start learning a lot and I look forward to getting interviewed and passed!

Very such amazing opportunity for software enginers..Jose says that we must learn javascript, node js, react js and angular as well. I'm a software enginer. Can I be a remote developer through turing even though I'm still a college student, but has over 3 years of being a software developer

Hi Bolu, The odds of junior developers getting hired are definitely lower, since 80% of Turing's partner companies in the U.S require at least 3 years of work experience. We however routinely hire strong developers with 0-3 years experience for internal roles within Turing (and for roles with the remaining 20% of Turing's partner companies that are open to hiring developers with little to no experience as long as they are exceptionally skilled and talented). So if you are a junior developer who signs up and does very well in our tests, you'll definitely be considered for internal roles at Turing and roles with the minority of our partner companies who are open to hiring strong developers with less experience. -Turing
