I noticed y'all were commenting on how Reacher is built. He's a hell of a lot more accurate than tom cruise's version but at 6'1 and 250lbs Alan Ritchson is still about 3 to 4 inches short and about 30lbs light compared to Jack Reacher from the books.

So glad you're reacting to this show! THIS is the real Reacher!!!!

Seen an interview with Alan Ritchson. Said him and his wife were out to dinner when they saw a guy breaking into a car. Ritchson, as he put it, went into Reacher mode. Chased the guy down, threw him into a brick wall when he caught him. Then waited for the cops. He finished the story by saying his wife was not happy with him.

That's how you KNOW you got the right guy for the role! And while yes, it's obviously not dangerous irl to do that, I definitely wouldn't want a guy his size chasing me down either.

Everyone grows to love Reacher haha. Such an underrated show and love how much love it has been getting and spreading its reach! Alan Ritchson is a pretty down to earth dude, when doing press for this (going on podcasts and shit) he went on one and talked about his mental health and how he almost took his own life and battled back from it. Really opened up and gained MAD respect for the guy.

I love how Reacher doesn't give a shit about what he says. He did the same thing in the second season when he told his brother's coworkers he was going to kill the bad guys without hesitation.

REACHER is awesome, you guys are in for a good time. It's incredibly fun to watch him beat people to death, LOL. And he gets even bigger for season 2. This is a great show

Hearing rumors he should be the new Batman in James Gunn’s “Brave and the Bold” movie. This needs to happen.

I can see Alan Ritchson as a perfect Batman but I'm having a harder time seeing him as Bruce Wayne, unless we're talking a more campy less brooding Bruce Wayne, I can see that.

They aren’t really rumors, it’s a fan cast. Besides, they don’t have a script for the movie yet and I think they’re waiting to cast Batman a bit later. I can see why people want him as Batman but I can’t see it as much yet. Yes, he has the body structure and kinda has the look but I don’t think his voice gives off *BATMAN* you know?

Also one thing tk understand about Reacher, he does not tolerate a bully The guy bullying his girlfriend at the beginning And then while teasing Hubble in jail, the moment the black inmate goes too far Reacher intervenes and then reassures Hubble no one will touch him I like that aspect, cause it shows you who Reacher is A protector and avenger

This show explains why people who were familiar with the books had a little laugh when Tom Cruise was announced to play the character, Alan Ritchson is basically exactly as he was described in the books.

Ritchson has explained he works out 30-45 minutes every day, no days skipped. Doesn't use steroids, but he has mentioned TRT.

so i just checked and Alan Ritchson (actor AND singer and hes a damn good singer) eats 4000 calories a day and works out 5 days a week along with being monitored using a medical/therapeutic regular dosage of testosterone, medically administered, just enough to keep his shape without ruining his health. in other words, bruh is COMMITTED and doing it right.
