Thanks, ive ridden it around a bit now and its pretty comfy. Lowers the bike a little too, which for me is no worries! Im really happy with how it looks! 😀

I think as you have modded Dug he has become progressively lighter. The seat is such a subtle element but creates a transformation in the look of the bike bordering on profound. He looks much more muscular with the change.

Looks great with the chrome. I've changed the seat on my 500 twice... It IS more trouble than you think it will be. I bought a couple of seats through an Indian company that just did not fit... irritating. I finally bought a hand made leather seat from BAAK in France. Appallingly expensive but fits perfectly. The OE seat is really uncomfortable. My BAAK is far better. Yours looks like it will be even better with the front pivot.

Yes i was more time consuming than i thought! But im super happy how it came out. The front pivot allows the springs to work better and it isolates me from even more vibrations. There are some nice seats from india but i was worried about their quality. Glad i went the route i did. Sounds like you have yours sorted now! Cheers

Great look! One of the first things I did with Badger is put a new seat on. I went for a springed Sparazo tan leather seat, It definitely reduced the vibrations going up my fat arse :)

Nice video iRide, thanks, I'll wait for the test ride later then ? :) took the RE Interceptor for decent test ride on Thursday, great value for money bike, seriously tempted now, I did have sit on the Classic 500 but found the pegs a bit too far forward for me.

Love it! By any chance, can you measure the spacing between the two screws where the springs are attached to under the seat? Most seats have a 17.5 cm spacing, where the bike originally has 21.5cm approx. I wonder if it would fit anyway?

Love the mod 🤌🏻….. I have been looking for a good quality seat as well. If you could please share the link of this particular seat. There are lot of seats on ebay which i dont trust would be the same as this one.

I'm keen on getting RE 500. I'm a short arse, 800 mm seat could be a worry for me. Do you know if the seat can be lowered. BTW great series, very informative.

Im 165cm and its fine as is but thd lower seat and shocks i put on are perfect, yes RE make a lowered seat! 👍 cheers
