The stigma surrounding cannabis has to be broken down. So glad that it’s starting to happen. It is quite possibly the most amazing plant on earth. It’s the reason why I created a whole education video series around CBD. Just make sure you do your homework and know what to look for in a high quality and safe product. Great talk.

This is a capitalist society and so it's money over wellbeing and logic sadly. People have been taking some of these compounds for many hundreds of years and could have been helping people for many years since they discovered it could be separated from the rest of the plant. They just decided to made it illegal until they could regulate and control the monopoly, tax us and ensure that there was a profit. They'd sell us fresh air while taxing us for breathing if they could XD *(the later wouldn't surprise me at all in the very near future the way that the world is going)

I smoke cbd joints. My cardiologist told me I have tachycardia, especially when i'm sleep. I've been smoking for one week, once a day and let me tell you it works. I still experience waking up with a pounding heart and sometimes anxiety but it's getting better and better. I don't wanna take the beta blockers because i know all what's happening to my heart and blood pressure is due to months of stress and anxiety. Waking up heart bpm is like 105, sometimes 130+. After doing deep breathing it's down to 95-92 and after smoking a few puffs of cbd joints 75-72bpm. Without deep breathing, the cbd brings my heart rate down to the 80's after a few minutes. I was skeptical but cbd works!! I'm about to incorporate the oil and more puffs during the day!!

I doubt that cbd would have a negative affect over a long period of time. Cbd helps support the endocaboid system helping it to become more efficient and effective in its role to regulate alignments to do with stress, emotions, environment and etc. For example if we consume a lot of vegetables that are high in potassium, potassium helps support heart health and other parts of the body. We all need to eat the right foods daily to support the different bodly functions. Cbd oil is classed as a food supplement. It directly targets certain parts of the brain to help improve the endocaboid system. I could be wrong but this is what I am understanding from listening to this Ted talk. I have recently purchased cbd oil today as I have been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. This reassures me that cbd could help strengthen my weaknesses around my anxiety. It will not cure it but hopefully will aid in my recovery. Stress is the biggest causes of inflammation and mental health problems and disease. Cbd seems to lower stress and improve the endocaboid system which in return helps you become stronger and more ressiliant in the long term.

The CBD makes you feel very calm and efficient, kind of the complete opposite of what THC makes you feel. Great talk! Found the insights presented in this talk very valuable. However, you statement that ''CBD does not get you high'' is not completely accurate. Speaking from my personal experience, taking a dose of 10ml 5% CBD oil I do feel high but nothing like the high that one would experience from THC related products. CBD related high in my experience is not mind numbing but I do find it more difficult to focus. In general, I would experience higher dopamine levels together with enhanced energy levels. My thought process would be a bit scattered, one could say all over the place. Furthermore, activities that require higher level of concentration, such as reading, also become more challenging after the intake of CBD oil. Could anybody advice on this? It could be that the amount of CBD I take is simply too high hence the unwanted side effects. Thanks!

After many failed attempts with other brands, I finally found this brand. Weedborn products are the best and I don't think I will ever need to look for another CBD supplier. I would recommend for practically any health problem.

I legitimately want to try CBD, if it can fix my sleep and mood issues, then most of my physical problems would be fixed. However, I’m afraid that I’ll be given a drug test at a job interview and not be able to work if I test positive. I’ve heard there are CBDs that can make you test positive even if there’s 0% THC. It’s infuriating that this natural solution to one of my biggest life problems is right in front of me, but I can’t even use it without fear of getting in trouble even though it’s technically legal.

You can buy the isolate form of CBD. If you buy a reputable brand you can trust, you can take this without fear of drug testing. I am a school teacher and took isolate for years before retiring. If you want to know which brand I use, I can tell you more.

It’s great stuff but like all supplements, sometimes you’re going to find a great one and sometimes you’re going to get a dud. It’s ok. Try different ones until you find something that works for you and look at the reviews. I hate getting high but I also don’t like having anxiety attacks. So, it really does take the edge off. I always say you should be the as self reliant as possible but CBD can calm you down enough to work on yourself better and getting back to normal.

With respect that you know what you are talking about, you surely must admit that anyone that has the need to repeatedly escape reality in a cloud of cannabis, is a dangerous lead. Just this weekend my 42 year old son has suffered a horrendous mental breakdown. He had to take the week off work as a result of mild COVID. During that time he obviously massively overdosed above his usual daily intake of cannabis. Why can’t people handle problems naturally within their own coping system. It is ridiculous to come to depend on whatever you learn to take, to help you cope. Whether it be coffee, chocolate, junk food, or a wide range of ‘drugs.’ I am aware that there are medical benefits to the plant, as indeed there are within certain poppies, but like all things of this ilk, the beneficial part of the drug needs to be separated and taken under prescriptive doses, rather than be solely restricted by the amount you can afford.
