Thank you for reminding me that I have Gelatos. I totally forget to use them and I have lots of stencils too. Such great ideas to get them out and make use of them. Coloring the texture paste with the Gelatos is a super tip. The oil pastels idea is super too. Of course, your cards are so pretty. Thank you for this video.

Wow! I bought the oil pastels recently but had no idea how to use them! Thanks for the idea for this newbie! Don’t you just love Gelatos? I’ve got my grandson loving them nowadays. He asks to color with them every time he comes over and can’t play outside for one reason or another. At nana’s house, it’s either artsy projects or basketball! Lol!

I have heard of Gelatios, but didn't know what they were exactly. What is the difference between them and oil pastels? I have some oil pastels, but haven't used them in some time. Like these ideas. Have to try with what I have. I have to get some gesso first. Thanks for sharing. Love these ideas.

I confess that I bought gelatos 2 years ago and didn't have the confidence to jump in and experiment. Thank you for this video. I now feel brave enough to use my gelato stash! Have lots of oil pastels...have just ordered a sissix gesso! Lovely ideas and so quick and easy too...my hands can definitely cope with this. Will be trying asap! Xx

Ann, Does the gesso have to be fresh when doing this technique or could you do the gesso one day and then the backgrounds the next?

Would you be able to enable closed captioning to your videos - for those of us that are hearing impaired? 💕💕💕

As a severely hearing impaired crafter, I had previously asked The Frugal Crafter Lindsey to start close captioning her videos again. Lindsey replied that the closed captioning is something KZread does and not the KZread originator of the video. I have found that lately, KZread is taking longer to close caption a lot of videos that involve crafting. But if you keep checking back on a video, it will eventually have the closed captioning. Sometimes later that day, sometimes a day or two later. So for videos I really want to "hear"/read the closed captioning, I just keep checking back until it is captioned.

All I did was to enable my closed captioning on my computer. The words print on the bottom of the screen. It was a setting within KZread. Worked for this tutorial and most tutorials. Best wishes.

We can hear your breathing it's quite loud would make a good telephone caller lol
