So proud to call Dave Marfone a teammate of mine. Dave accepted the bout on 4 weeks notice. The best part was is right before he accepted it, he had his first child and told our coach he was thinking about hanging them up. Amazing talent, the fact we can say he went and did it is huge. Amazing friend and training partner! So great to see how far Neiman Gracie has gone in MMA!

Not entirely sure but I assume the crowd was either booing the ref, the underwhelming ending maybe but I hope it wasn't Primus. I'm a huge Chandler fan but this display of sportsmanship and gracious respect in victory by Brent was absolutely beautiful. Obviously, the man was raised right. His parents should be proud. Even so young, just 20, those are the actions of a man you can look up to! I love it. God bless him and his family🙏

The guy that went up against Lima has the 'most adventurous 'hair cut' I have ever seen in that MMA ring.(slot 2:17:13) I have also come to appreciate 'two fighters can be so Tough' that neither one can be conquered, it doesn't mean the fight was rubbish because no one 'finished it' VIA Tap out or knock out. What's important is to determine who 'stung who the most' with snapping leg kicks, banging elbows and smashing punches.

That Hardy vs Yauger fight was an absolute banger. Yauger has inadequate skills to box with Hardy unfortunately, Yauger found way more success while in-fighting. Great overhand tighr by Hardy but her stiff left jab did some serious damage, she caught Yauger stepping to the inside alot with that.

I hope to see him back one day Also; How about that do or die Bellator match making ? They do not spare fighters with their debut. New to Bellator? Fight the champion to ease you into it. 3:46:31 Chael's big mouth a bit smaller while he's still exhausted on the stool, "I'm not stupid!" to frustrated Wanderlei and the boobirds. Came because I didn't watch Bellator back then and I heard something about 'Chael's lay and pray fights'. I guess he did have them. Neither guy was the same after Silva-Sonnen (I just realized this was also Silva-Sonnen but I was referring to the Anderson fights)

It was his leg kick that injured the nerve in Chandler’s leg (behind the knee). I do believe Chandler would have won anyway of it hadn’t of been stopped. There is no quit in him.

427 into the match of the Chandler vs Primus is where the injury to Chandlers leg occurred. After that kick to the back/side of the knee of chandler is when Chandlers leg was affected. I Don’t think it was the ankle.

I often wonder why many (most?) Western Thai Boxing practitioners don’t ever seem to be able to generate the same striking powers with the knee that Thai nationals can. Knee strikes and Musy Thai boxers with well-know knee strikes as their primary “weapon” are really feared there. (I spent 15 years living there). I believe that our knees (especially to the sides, stomach and inner quadricep (thighs) don’t generate as much power because we usually go staight up - from foot on the ground which is a longer move - and heavier as we’re having to fight mord gravity and hope tohave enough “punch” remaining for the strike when the gravity part of the equation is subtracted. What the Thais do that results in more knee power. Is 1. They LIFT the leg, while pointing the toe, and turning the knee out while bring it up a couple inches above his opponent’s belt height , while going up on the stable foot’s toe (for even MORE height. 2- Then with hands licked behind the opponent’s neck , he jumps up from his toe - striking knee outside and he strikes at a 45 degree angle with gravity ON HIS SIDE because he’s raised the knee high and can strike DOWN!! This works well on side sttikes Thais also pull violently on the nevk , while pulling dow to give more energy to the knee he’s bring up or in! Like he’s pulling his hands (which are locked behing opponent’s neck . To his own chest - generating more “chi” power as he’s striking Western MMA Should watch more THAI boxing in Thailand. Better yet, pay Buahkow for some knee tips.
