Good work, I only have one tip, when hitting the crank to move the web, try to hit it where it is solid, not where there is a balance hole as the metal is very thin here, subbed, liked.

Hi! How do you set big end pins 180 degrees apart before pressing inner halves together? Did you checked it afterwards?

When you assemble the inner web, there is only one position you can assemble the big end pins in 180 degree. Look at the video at 2:45, the male part has notches which will help you assemble in 180 degree. I dont check whether it is 180 degree, since you can not move once it is assembled.

Rd 350 crank has 4 flywheels....right. what is the weight of each flywheel including lead weights...i have an rd 350. Crank dismantled....flywheel weight wd lead insets is as follows.....from clutch side to magnet side.....1.246 kg ,1.242 kg, 1.216 kg, 1.618 kg...do u think or anyone else reading this....believe that all these parts should b equal in weight...the said crank has been serviced many times b4 i got the bike...the lead weights ...they have been sawed of or pinched at places...need help for balancing as crank vibrates at all rpms....i read it someplace that all parts should have equal weights meaning that both cranks which make up one crank shaft should b equal to each other.....same goes for the con rods Pins etc. Need comments on this topic from all ...thanks....DR J S KALSI , AMRITSAR INDIA

Hi I never Checked the Fly wheel weight, Balancing the crank Shaft only means the weight balanced on the plane parallel to the Crank Split. That means when you look at the crank from Clutch side in assembled condition and imagine a plane on the crank split, the weight on top of this plane and bottom of the plane should be same. So this fly wheel weight does not make any difference.

I have a 2 cylinder 400cc bike, and the the rocker arm is stacked up, I am considering a Crankshaft rebuild because I cant afford new one at the moment. My question is, What is the cons of repaired crankshaft?

If done it properly, it is as good as new one. Use proper High Quality bearings like Naachi, Koyo, SKF
